Who the hell would want to take on Woodson's contract? Plus he is way too overrated.
Yeah i don't know who'd pay him that guranteed $10.5 mil but I don't think he's overrated.. The man knows how to come out and play ball.. I still don't think he's worth the $ though..

Finally a pick I'm happy with! Raiders pick up LB Kirk Morrison... Straight up Oakland native getting a chance to play with his home team

PFW: Which is your favorite NFL team?
Morrison: I’ve always been a Raiders fan growing up in Oakland. I bleed silver and black. But now with the draft coming up, there are no more favorite teams, except for the one I’ll hopefully be playing for.

Time to shine in the silver & black!

Al Davis is back to his old games of drafting athletic studs on defense with no brains or fundamentals...well I cant really say that about all these guys since I havnt seen them play but after reading about some on these guys Im kinda skeptical on these choices..Seem too much like picks we've have had in the past few years that ended up being busts...I hope Im wrong! :ermm:

yeah so far today he's drafted a bunch of track stars... Almost everyone is fast.. I really like the LB pick tho.. The CBs don't seem to bad either but I don't get why we need em unless we tradin C. WOod or something or moving someone to safety. But this draft is nothing compared to last yr now that draft was SH!TTIN. There was really no one we really need in this draft besides some LBs and pass rushers tho

I wouldnt bag on Al Davis too much.. you lost Buchannon, so cb/s was an issue..........plus the man brought you Randy Moss, an basically robbed the jets for a average te

"Yes finally Rodgers got taken, he'll have a lot to show people - and its a good place to go - no pressure, sit behind Farve until he's ready"

haha you gotta be kidding homie. it seems like a good place for Rodgers, he gets to learn behind Farve. but he will never get to play untill Farve retires.........then he has the task of replacing him!!!! haha I dont think pressure could be any higher for that kid, damn

Yeah I understand that we was gonna get a CB since we got some picks for P Buch... But I don't get why we took 2?!?! We also recently just got Hill from the cardinals I believe. But damn as long as any of them have better coverage skills than P Buch( which should be easy) then its coo... But yeah as far as the offseason its been coo.. Gettin Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan..We gon' have a good offense just need to pick up a few more LBs and a solid pass rusher to have a good D

Im not knockin his offseason moves but I do have a problem with the defensive players he has drafted in the past few years. Wasting 1st rounders on players who either aren't on the team anymore or not starting or starter quality, thats the whole reason the defense is so horrible now.

Im happy with our 3rd round selections tho. Even tho QB wasn't a huge need Im not a huge Collins fan and if Tui was that good they wouldn't have got Collin's in the 1st place to back up Gannon. I think dude has some good potential too.

Yeah we've had good 3rd round picks... This QB we got today is pretty good in the passing game and may be a good QB once his time comes....I think we should trade Tui to someone for some picks or something because he prob. will never be a started for this team

Matt Roth will be the next Romanowski... Not the way he plays, but how hes going to break someone's face (Maybe a ref?) and get blackballed out of the league.

I think so far the Vikes and Skins are having the best draft, lets see what happens tomorow

ummmmmmm Frank Gore? dude is good and all but he's always getting hurt

think the 9ers could have done better than that for a 3rd rounder

for some reason i think the scouts saw another tom brady in Smith. well see

from pro football weekly

Our Niners sources tell us that WRs Brandon Lloyd and Arnaz Battle weren’t all that impressed with the passes thrown to them by Utah’s Alex Smith in an early-April private workout in Salt Lake City. According to both receivers, Niners QB Tim Rattay has a better arm than Smith.

hmmm...sounds like smith will be getting receivers killed going over the middle

Why the fuck did they take a center? Unbeleivable. Rely on seattle to do the stupist shit.
I kinda understand why they did this...but i still dont condone it...Tobek is a 14 year veteran...and they wanted someone to learn from him while hes still here...thus the pick...plus,i will admit...Holmgreen knows football...he knows athletes...so im gonna give him a pass on this and see how it pans out...

Im really excited about gettin Lofa Tatupu....he was a vital poart of USC's shutdown defense last year...and we are in DESPERATE need of a IL....cus i just dont think D.D. Lewis is gonna cut it....

yea romo played over 10 seasons and he was black balled he stayed in the league so long because he played for the niners and all those assitant coaches now are head coaches , romo just couldnt play anymore without taking excessive amounts of steroids
