i voted yes because a battle can bring out the best in both rappers artistically, when you have competition that motivates you to do your best work. the chance of it turning into street beef is just one of the risks of the battle, and if your not willing to put it on the line then back down from the battle in the first place....... the first bullet reply is some of the better material I've heard come from him, so i think that in this case the battle is a good thing

So what does D-Sane think?

Well.....................I chose NO.

I could be wrong.....and hopefully I am. I just think that the NW is still too fragile to be trying to tear people down. Maybe if we were more established as a Hip-Hop community.....it might be helpful.

But on the flipside......it may just be what the NW needs to get us some publicity? We all know that CONTROVERSY SELLS! But I have a real fear that all of this could turn ugly........and the last thing I want is for anybbody to get HURT over this. Because there have been threats made..........

I'm stuck in the middle of this because both DOG and Bullet are my folks. Let's just keep it on the records fellas.........OK?

i personally attack when im attacked, anyone that has personally met me knows that im cool and id rather connect with someone then have beef with them, but if someone crosses that line or is just flat out disrespectful then you need to do what you have to do....but at the same time, if you are in a battle with someone else then they need to keep the artform pure and respect the game, there is no need to act physically on another person cuz you are mad that they got the best of you.

I definately agree.

There are times when lines have been crossed and it just has to be addressed.. but to not be able to control you own emotions enough to have to take it outside the realm of the music and have it lead to violence... well I dont think I could respect that.

This is about music to me.. and skillz.. but to take it to another level.. its just not worth it. If you cant prove your point in your rap, then you lose and we all move on to the next drama on wax..

I say, fuck the beef shit......why?

#1 Cuz artists have to fave enough hatin' as it is coming up, why make it even more with beef with other artists?

#2 I dont agree with the idea of making songs bout other rappers to make a name for yourself (although in this case, its two very established NW artists, so the exeption can be made) BUT, certain people on the siccness have taken the beef as a chance to break their own music by dissing cool nutz out of the blue....im not down with that.....its a very cheap way to make a name....and oh yeah, cool nutz is a MUTHA FUCKIN LEGEND....NEED I SAY MORE??

#3 the general public views hiphop as a violent basard child already, why give them more reason to keep thinking so? (given that beef would turn into more than just records)

NOW...on the other side of it.....I cant front, theres been times where there are certain artitsts in the NW that DO need to get checked every once in a while...(not saying no names, and no, not anyone on the siccness) but I have chosen to keep my mouth shut....at the end of the day, success is the biggest diss on someone you can possibly make.....

so, when it is all said and done...my verdict is:

fuck the beef..
