I feel you. But when we gained our independence, it was all us...some country didn't come over from thousands of miles away to give us independence, you feel me? What are going to be the implications of our "liberating" Iraq. It really was not our place to say "they need this." Plus at some point we have to leave...right? What happens then. I hear what you're saying, but I think we were/are over zealous in our "freeing" of Iraq. I also never believed that Bush thought of it as a "liberation" movement, IMHO.

i got you... i agree to a point too. but not matter what we do as a nation people will still be unhappy. what would the scene be like if we didnt do anything and some how Saddam was able to strike us? regardless what would of happened, we as a people, as americans need to support our brothers who are out there fighting and sometimes dying for our nation. and how as a nation we can move on peacefully and focus on the growth of people our people then go worldwide.

I will never not support the troops...it's the people sending the troops that I disagree with. See, you bring up the point of "what if Saddam attacked us?" I see that...but we were attacked, for the first time ever on the continental US! And they weren't Iraqis that did it...they were Saudis. So why don't we go there? Oh, that's right they have oil barons who have close ties to our royal family, the Bushes...I mean, to me it's clearly wrong to attack Iraq for the threat that they posed, and yet this other country is cool even though almost all of the hijackers hailed from there.
