As far as the sixties in Dallas, it was a outta town cat that brought it with him. In the late 80's early 90's it was a lot of Bloods and Crips coming to Dallas/Fort Worth from Cali ( San Diego up to Sac ), Denver, and other w/c cities. 4x3,5x2,107 hoova , 60's and rollin 30's , bountyhunters,treetop were the only out of town sets really back in the day, but they all got brought from outta town. I'd say 90% of the sets around here are named after they hood ,park, street ,etc.

i was thinking that the gang members who migrated to other cities did that shit to show off their dominance... just so that the original gang members from LA can have bragging rights like "yeah this rollin 60's right here, and we got hoods in las vegas, albuquerque, st. louis, minneapolis and seattle cuzz!!!!"
