Did I ride in a time machine 20 years into the past with no one saying anything?

i never noticed people stopping skateboarding ever .. thats like saying when did video games become cool again u got these little kids with their memory cards and checkpoints .. back in the day i played mega man 2 we had to write down the password on a piece of paper .. checkpoints .. megaman dont need on stinkin checkpoints
HAHAHA! I remember that shit. Kids just have it too easy these days. They don't even have to exercise their writing skills to continue a game later. So now they're obese and when you ask them to write something, they say "HUH? You mean I can't use a controller or keyboard??"

I don't think it ever fell off - not in the least. What I think happened is, it became much more mainstream and watered down than it ever was. There used to be a limited number of top notch skaters and everyone who was into it followed these guys. Now, you walk out of the house and some 8 year old kid is kick-flipping your car. There are skate videos released every other day with new people you never heard of. The old timers are well retired. It's just changed/evolved, but it never slowed or declined in popularity.

You know what has fallen off though, the bmx bike craze. I remember growing up, there would be grown ass people on those Haro's and GT's and shit, with pegs and all that.
One that part reason why...Hutch disapered in early 90s. Then Schwinn , GT and 2 of GT Sub Brands DYNO & Robison all went bankrupt and they sell cheap verison of these bikes now in Wal Mart , K mart , Toys R Us...ect! Even Diamond Back and Mongoose were frist go this route but I'm not sure if they went bankrupt.

Now since Haros , Redline , theres few more witch I can't think right now have no competion except for department store bikes. So they slacked on making good BMX bikes. Now they just sell there bikes slightly better than department store bikes for 300-500 dollars..

Thats why you see alot people buyin BMX Bikes from early 80s-1999/2000. In 01 alot people noticed how easy the frames , forks , rims/magz and goose necks break an snap that they just made weak BMX Bikes. So from 01 to now they make pieces of shit.

Skate boarding is the shit... but a lot of kids like myself stopped because of the stereotype placed upon you that you have to listen to rock or kick it with skaters. I honestly stopped skating because my friends weren't into it.

But I'm doing it on a solo tip now, high school norm I regret not doing what I liked.. I should've did what I wanted back then inside of smoking and tagging

Fucc the dumb shit. Every 20-25 years things get recycled such as fashion and music. That's why you see lil fags wearing 80's style sunglasses, tight jeans(levis),And small shirts that don't even go past your nuts.
Next thing you know is that Max Headroom will be selling Coke again and Spudz Mckenzie will be selling Bud Light.

When did skate boarding become cool again?

I woke up one morning and all these lil fuckers are out there trying to gleam the cube and shit.

They even brought back those lil finger skateboards.

I guess if you can't come up with anything new sell em the old shit from a previous generation.
