ok, pac was born in what, east coast? raised in the town. did he fuck it uop an make it harder for bay rappers to get fame? i mean check it out, the bay rappers that get national play, like radio an mtv is the ones that was out before pac, short an 40. me an the homies was discussing this while slappin differnent cds an a pac one got put in. just a random unfluenced thought

EDIT!!!!!

i aint blaming pac, there seems to be confusion. im saying indirectly did pac mess it up with his attitude an lifestyle that reflects how shit goes on everyday out northern califas

fuck nah the fuck you talking about. Pac helped the Bay he put 4Tay, CBO, Richie Rich, E40 on All Eyes on Me which is a classic cd and gave the rest of the country a chance to hear these cats. He directed Mall's video off Illegal Business and was in the video himself so that boosted Mall's popularity. And he did hella other shit man the fuck you talking about?

how the fuck is one dumb for having a thought? an opinion?

then why dont you explain why nor cal aint getting no exposure while l.a. an all everywhere else blown the fuck up an wore the fuck out like some twacked out baby moma sucking dick for coke to stay high to keep her graveyard taco bell job?

what im saying is after pac passed do you think that the record execs would rather stay clear from the bay due to the history up here?i mean its a fact there hella talent up here. why aint shit blown up? besides 40s lil bit of fame which brought some spotlight pac the last one that repped this shit on the radio an video

Unfortunately it's all economics now. Most independent companies have merged with majors, hip-hop pioneers sold-out for a quick buck, the RIAA (started in 96') changed the rules for radio in favor of multi-national corporations, digital downloads got eyybody' shook, and therefore the big names in music are corporate puppets or broke southerners who don't realize how much they are being taken advantage of....

It's pretty obvious that there's no rappers from the Bay that have the same style and swagger as Pac. No one even comes close... The day that another rapper emerges as Pac is the day that real hip hop is back

maybe i was being a lil harsh with my last comment don't start crying on me now. Pac died in 96 and it's 2008 so you think "the industry" is gonna be too shook to fuck with a Bay Area artist 12 years later? I said you're dumb mostly because of the thread title and your initial post then you tried to change the subject later. I think one reason the Bay hasn't gotten back on it's shit is because some of our top artists suffer drug addictions and some of our best artists have been killed.

charisma an delivery as pac? maybe just cuz im a tore back but 40 got that. mac dre did. dre dogg style did. hus gots it. ap9 an jacka. shit, thats just a select few i can think of just from the bay. HELLA other rappers that aint even from here got charisma an delivery. alot of it has to do with haters an people stuck in the past trying to remember the "pacs" an "biggies" an those shoes are getting bigger an bigger everyday for these rappers to fill. shit, when the mac named dre was alive by FAR did he have as much fans as he does now, its a shame we dont appreciate the talent while its here until they gone
