Crabtree needs to sign already and just fill it with incentives

by the way, Shefters not with NFL Network anymore, why?

EDIT: ESPN will announce Wednesday that Bellmore JFK's own Adam Schefter will join the network in mid-August - as soon as his contract with the NFL Network expires. His first day likely will be Aug. 17, when the Panthers face the Giants in a preseason game.

Schefter had been with the NFL Network since 2004 but has been off the air for several months after negotiations for a new contract went sour

I'm Just Glad DHB is signed and in Camp getting ready for the the season.... Craptree is hasn't even pratice this offseason and still holding out.. lol ...
I read one guy's theory that Crabtree may not be completely healed from his foot surgery yet and that's why he doesn't mind his agent making a big deal and causing him to miss practice. It makes sense, but when it comes down to it I don't think the Niners are going to budge and I think Crabtree and his agent both know this. They just don't care because he may not even be ready to practice anyway. Also, Crabtree is not expected to be a big contributor in his rookie season because of our depth at WR. The fact that Isaac Bruce is returning would make Crabtree 2nd string behind Josh Morgan this season anyway (Brandon Jones is 2nd behind Bruce). Next season Morgan will be expected to take over for Bruce and Crabtree will take over the WR slot Morgan will man this year. Basically what I'm saying is Crabtree's holdout is not hurting the Niners very much, if at all, unless Josh Morgan gets hurt. The Niners know this and Crabtree and his agent know this.

SMH @ this

If this were the case, Tony, wouldn't EVERY team use the shotgun ALL the time in the pro's? I mean, if it allows more time, than why aren't NFL coaches smart enough to use it?
Just reading through this old thread and I just noticed this....

You've got to be kiddin' me if you don't think the Shotgun formation gives a quarterback more time to throw the ball. The qb lines up 5 yards deeper (as compared to under the center). So it'll take the pass rush more time to get to him. You seriously shouldn't be in this discussion if you don't think the shotgun gives the qb more time.

Only a fool would believe Jerry Rice ran a 4.71
According to Dwight Clark he did...Don't know if it's true or not.

And as far as Percy Harvin...He'll be a David Palmer type of player...An all-purpose performer....He'll return kicks and play in the slot or third downs....He will not be a first or second receiver.

I feel the raiders a FINALLY turning it around and hope the niners do too.. WE ALL HAVE SUCKED FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND IT TIME FOR THE BAY TO MAKE TO BACK TO THE PLAYOFFS.

I'm still going to rep them Raider all the way!!!

yet the team running the shotgun has to run less men on the line of scrimmage...the theory is too allow more time...whether it works depends on how everyone peforms
