extraction on ps3 is polished over the wii version at best, not hd.

anyway, beat dead space 2 twice already, best suit is probably the elite advanced suit or the riot suit, that one looks better.

plasma cutter/line gun are still some of the best weapons.

Dead Space 2 is the shit.

The weapon you get for completed Hard Core mode is amazing.

Honestly, online is handled much better than I thought it would be.
Also, there's going to be Story DLC for it (called Severed).

The content is an “all-new digital download pack” which sees the main characters of Dead Space: Extraction, Gabe and Lexine, return in “two standalone chapters” in the game’s story.

The player will control Gabe, who is a security guard on the Sprawl, as he tries to get himself and Lexine off it against “his own onslaught of Necromorphs”.

It’ll run in parallel with that of the story of Issac Clarke.

No price or timeline were given for its release. The info was mentioned in a press release published by EA to celebrate the main games release in the US today.

i said fuck it and went with DS2.....after reading and hearing nothing but good things about it, i figured what the hell....after hearing very little anything about shattered dimensions ( spiderman ) im not trying to be pissed off with a purchase.....

DS2 reminds a lot of doom 3....probably because visceral had a hand it that also

On the hardest difficulty, I was ready to smash my controller. That shit had me fucking raging like crazy.

On DS2, I just got to the and I have it on normal and it's making me fuckin' rage.

Just finished it. This game is fucking awesome. I played on Normal and my final time was 12 hours and 31 minutes.

I'm pretty sure I'll never attempt Hard Core difficulty. Health and ammo will be at a bare minimum. When you die, you revert back to your last save and you can only save three times. WTF???

On my Normal play-through, there are save stations everywhere. I guess for the Hard Core difficulty, it will only let you save three times...I guess you have to choose wisely where you want to save each time.

Yeah, I know. I said Kids, but I was talking about the Necromorphs in general.
I guess that would be confusing since they added the Pack and shit.

And this is how it works. All the save stations are there, but you have to pick which three you want to save at.

It's not that hard on Hard Core. Plasma Cutter and Force Gun and you'll be good to go.

Returned my Little Big Planet 2 today and got $47.xx back so I got Dead Space 2 and a free 1600 xbox card for $47.xx not a bad deal. I can use my card on the map packs tomorrow after work.
