LOL... I remember picking Gomez over Cotto but I don't remember if I picked Judah and Moseley over Cotto. I probably did...

With that being said... De La Hoya will beat Cotto if they fought.

dissapointed fight on dlh part. i was expecting a tko but props to forbes for hanging in there. dlh had good combinations but not good enough to knock out mayweather or cotto

4-sho... Cotto is improving as he fights though. De La Hoya would be a huge underdog but his experience will help him against Cotto. Should be a good fight. I just hope they meet but with Mayweather in the way I don't know.

I think the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight is going to be more technical and harder to score.

I actually think Mayweather is going to win more decisively this time. They're fighting at 147 and I think that's more of an advantage to Floyd but we'll see.

Oh, and of course Cotto is going to have to get past Margarito too. That's going to be a straight WAR which might end up being the fight of the year.

what do you mean by "taking so long to answer?" He already agreed to fight Oscar on September 20th.

Or do you mean that he doesn't want none of Cotto?

True .. probably one of my most looked forward fights of the year. I think Cotto will definitely win but Margarito will be there the whole time making it a fight.

Margarito is a sav, I only give a very slight edge to Cotto. Margarito has a steel chin, his inside game is superb and of course he throws like a million punches per round. Cotto is really going to have to box extremely well to win this one.

I really wouldn't be surprised at all if Margito pulls it off. I still got Cotto (and also want him to win) but I aint puttin no money on it!

I just think he's too slow to actually pull it off against Cotto .. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Margarito pull it off with excessive workrate. Any second that Cotto decides to take off Margarito is going to be there punching.

2-0 .. Did you catch the Victor Ortiz fight from the undercard yet? Dude looked even more impressive than his one round demolition of the Maussa. He got floored by a hard right and showed good composure the whole time. I always kind of looked at him as a one punch type of fighter but he looked real good.

I grabbed the full broadcast of the Sky Sports (UK) broadcast of the card from the WBVA. Sky Sports/Setanta usually shows more fights than the HBO broadcasts. I'll upload the Ortiz fight if you wanna peep it and post it up in the boxing thread.

really ? didnt know that, i just herd that the date is set but its not official yet, on mayweathers side.

i never really liked the golden boy, ever since he beat my favorite fighter.. julio cesar chavez then kinda rubbed it in and at the same time tried to say it was his "idol"

He'll never be on Chavez Sr's level.
