My suggestion is to make 1 song at a time and be honest with yourself. ask Is this at the level you are trying to achieve? My gripes with some of the songs ya been on has been production and sound quality. If I was an artist I would say ..I'm gonna take one real chance at this shit..all or nothing, hold nothing back, because tomorrow doesn't always come around as far as opportunities, or being held accountable for responsibilities that may hold you back tomorrow. Decide how many songs. let's say 12....and pay whatever it takes to get them beats and pay for proper recording. Don't settle for..I'm just gonna get what i can get..get what you need if you believe you cut to make it big, well you need those ingredients, A chef is only as good as his ingredients..sure you can make do, but do you want to wonder what would've or could've happened if I waited and got the right ingredients.\
I'm not saying Dave Moss is the best producer, but if i was an artist living in Dago I would reach out to him while you can afford his prices, because he represents the biggest bang for buck because he also can record properly.
I realize that you can be versatile, and most people think ya got to do club songs...but I'm in the middle...No one is getting signed and no real radio play so why waste your efforts needless? I think if doing a club song fits the page you on when listening to the beat..then do it. I feel you are marketable as well because your voice and swag which may cater to the younger crowd and it is not just West Coast sounding...per se` If i was to disect storman i would come up with a cross between The earliest too-short (freaky tales) mixed with easttrippn and jab at her.....Full of character callin bitches bitches....while jabn at her but not soft....not no pimp chronicles because the whole pimp persona has been overdone...gotta take em to Storman's World that place where ya make your own rules and create trends..not follow em.
