Rikk aint even make no money off that shit.well maybe he made enough to buy two fortys and a bag of sunflower seeds...what he burned a few of em and put a sticker on em? I wasn't their so who knows what the deal was..he told me he told the artists they can press their own copies, and he would press his....Herb wasn't on the easttrippn c.ds I seen...and herb was the Original artist out of dago i was suppose to work with, I got hooked up through godfather ed. By the way i aint callin no one a liar, shit I seen how this lil cycle keeps repeating itself through out rap....get a written agreement at least....dont need a lawyer for it and at least you all can look back at it and say.." naw this what was said"
My personal opinion is if you aint buying the beats or paying for studio time and your an unknown artist then just be happy someone is gonna put your name out there, next go around at least you have a few fans.....and can Dofaself...

yea thats my relative hes in arizona right now but he has all those cds from all the skyline park archives, and including starting mitchy slick off also and baby lon-don AKA don diego from lincoln park befor shit went bad with mitchy, hes been coo with don diego in fact in 2006 in the summer of he met up with him and shanno bo from skyline fat sac and boss man hogg at boss man hoggs house and was talking about the cherry chuck gang in building,don diego at that time was beefing with mitchy, how ever if you all do not know don diego was apprehended in las vegas by police during a regualr traffic stop and was also wanted and viewed on amerrikas most wanted for some murders he was suppsoed to be involved with
what u feel to realize is that the homies didnt wanna be on no East Trippin CD..we made them songs for fun...not to get famous off the shit...thats when we wasnt serious with this rap shit and was making shit for the homies in the set..now we make shit for everybody....Slick Rick the homie and he looked out on the beats and shit..but nobody said put that shit out there like that...East Trippin is a way of life..thats how we was living at the time...so i made the song..my nigga hogg free styled his verse at the end...that cd made us rappers..we was like damn yall like this shit...so we kept rapping and still rapping till this day....Herb on half the CD...half his songs off his album on the cd....we was fucking wit Rick like that...we just recoreded with em..we was with Reese..and when I say us or we im talking about me and Tiny O....
I feel ya, i know there is always two sides of a story. I talked with rikk even though we done talked about this a few times, and all the history as far as the rappin, I was living in dago in 89 and remember rikks music, I was at a few of the functions God father ed..Shannon Bo , and no one was really on no rap shit ( at least seriously)..maybe big june
I know actions speak louder then words, but Rikk really cares about his homies in skyline, shit.. through out the whole south east. Like me and him was talking a few hours back...we all have our faults, and things dont always go according to the plan. I was wrong Rikk and Daddy S did try and push some c.ds, but he didnt make any real money, if you take in all his time and efforts he didnt even break even. You know a low level/ local producer averages around $500 for a beat across the U.S...so factor that in for beats...another $15-20 Hr for studio time for a lower level studio.
I was thinking and this is opinion...If it was not for rikk ( as far as rappin) there might not have been the baby skar...with out skar maybe no shannon-bo..no A.K. no regg nutt..no bossman hogg.. south reese that might have meant no Stormin Norman. Not to say that none of yall deserve a limelight or couldnt make it on your own, It is extremely possible that Rikk was the spark, that kept the flame going. One series of events that get changed could effect a whole lot of people ( kind of deep if ya really think of it)
When I first heard the easttrippn yes it was like 3 volumes, though I just heard Rikks 12 songs I was impressed by you tiny o and the others....herb was only on the m slick diss track....reality is the rap game is harder tp really do it big and people realize they aint gonna get no real spins....so why make them radio songs? what yall had with rikk was special ...Im not saying rikk is the best producer, but he knows how to put all the pieces together. Skyline is deep with talent...shit dago as a whole, but majority of artists think so big, but can not handle what is in front of them...cater to this region, changing up doing club songs like most are doing aint working..people outside of dago can get that anywhere...but there is only one dago.
Stormin..I always got something good to say about you and when i talk with Sau or Dave Moss I say you have a certain sound that I think is marketable..because originality and you dont step out of your element and try and be Jay.z etc etc..I aint crazy about club songs..but I wish ya luck so since 2000 aint that when easttrippn was released whats going on with the project? You say yall serious about rappin...let us know whats going on.

ON THE PRODUCTION I GOT TINY O, MY NIGGA LIL SANDMAN(WHO MADE JAB AT HER BEAT) AND IM TRYIN TO GET DAVE MOSS AS WE SPEAK..ALSO I GOT A BOSSMAN HOGG BEAT....GOT ABOUT 1/4 OF THE ALBUM DONE..TRYIN 2 GET BOSSMAN HOGG AND YOUNG SAU ON THE ALBUM ALSO..AND I GOT A FEW BEATS COMING FROM SOUTH REESE AND THA HANK FACT..REESE GONE BE ON THA ALBUM ALSO AND IM WORKING ON GETTING CEE WEE 3 ON THE ALBUM TOO...
No disrespect to ecay...cricet and steve vicious...but you need to find someone who can compliment your style and make beats to match....too many people just buying beats to rip. Just cause they make some hot beats dont mean you gonna sound good on em...and this aint directed just at you and hope you maybe think about what Im saying. I say the same thing about features...just cause lets say snoop is tight and jayz is tight...that dont mean they gonna make a great song ( even though marketing will make it a hit) but on the level....it dont always go together....I do not see you on the ecay, cricet or steve vicious beats Ive heard....but Im sure they are capable of making something for you...just not there usual beats we hear other rappers rap on...Stormin, I was at daves and I was telling Sau that you had some real potential...not cause you a lyrical ninja, or whatnot, but you have a certain swag that is marketable to the demographics that are purchasing rap music. So you being Unique, you need that same lil something on production.....just my opinion..who knows...I do hear beats that Dave Moss makes that aint my taste but fit you...and I know you versatile..im just saying take the ball and score..dont fall in the same trap of doing the same shit everyone else did.
