True satanists don't harm animals, except for food or shelter.
I know you're an ex-Satanist, or some shit along those lines, but when you say a "true" satanist do you mean a follower of Anton Szandor LaVey's church or a "real" satanists (the actual people who believe in Satan as a deity)?

All Satanists believe in Satan as their deity. For accepting the principles of LeVay (without which there would be no modern Satanism), they worship a deity.

I'm not going to make a blanket statement, but to my knowledge, there are no Satanists who worship the "Satan" of the Christian bible. Just as he is doomed to fail, If one were to wholeheartedly accept the teachings of the christian bible, anything based on him is doomed to fail.

What "Satan" is differs from individual to individual and from Church to church. Some say he is a force all around us, that connects us and binds all things. Many say we live in hell, and he is our guide. Some believe Satan a transfixed, wispy entity with a physical location.

My girlfriend is a Wiccan (Jesus H. Fuck Save me!), and she believes Satan is a mere afterthought in pursuit of true knowledge, that he is and was manifested in a lower and less significant spiritual plane.

I've heard there are actual big name Satanic (not levay) groups that are quite influential, not sure how truthful that is though. I'll try to find the link.

Oh god I haven't paid the most remote attention to Satanism for years.

I got lured into the church by some bitch who said she would fuck me. She ended up fucking my friend. I lost interest after that. Fucking evil bitch lmao.

i havent read the whole post, but i read the first two pages and i seen a handful of people arguing back and forth. In my opinion, some of that video was pretty funny, but I think its a little sad to see Dead Prez relying on this kind of attention to stay on the scene. If any of that shit was made with white people doin it to black people everyone would be screamin racism but since its just white people being picked on as usual its funny. I think this video really limits black people and reinforces negative stereotypes that white people have of black people. If you dont believe that you should ask yourself why a group fighting for black freedom and equality can only talk about robbing an innocent white family, KOing a pizza man, stealing money from work and buying clothes with a stolen credit card (is stolen right?)? Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but I really dont see what this video does for anyone, besides get a little laugh.

I agree with you 110%. People think that when I talk about a reinforcement of racism that kids are going to start sewing hoods and joining klans. It is not as severe as that, and in often cases it is in a persons sunconcious. It dwells there until something similar happens, and after so long these feelings that have been bottled inside are going to be released. It is much more complex then this, but I thought I might give just a hint of what I was talking about. Anyways, MaddDog, you hit it on the nail with every word of your post.

i think sgt. hustle had an interesting point. the end is totally relevent but that doesnt justify the rest of the video. i think one of the main problems in america is that racism is both ways- thats to say a lot of blacks are discriminated against, but since blacks are discriminated against so are a whole shitload of whites. maybe its because i am from really liberal places, but i spent my childhood in Pacifica, CA, my highscool years in SF and now my college years at SDSU and I can honestly say I see more prejudice against whites by blacks than against blacks by whites. I can honestly say every black kid I went to school with was given the same oppurtunity as white people.

MY CASE IN POINT: Feb. 04'- I am in a United Nations group at school and a friend attends a meeting. The room is evenly distributed, but there is only one black kid. He is in the middle. The next black kid to enter the room sits next to him. The two immediately start talking about how wack school is and how they are only in class for extra credit and how they need to find something else to do.

Now, my problem aint about these kids attending for extra credit. My friend who visits brings up the fact that I'm probly "blacker" in many respects than both of the black students. I bump rap music like both them and am socially concious and am into church and partying and am loud and active (call those stereotypes but in a lot of respects theyre true, and btw they are also positive). Yet based on the sole fact they were black, my friend noticed they clicked together, and not only clicked together but isolated themselves from white students. How is everything supposed to be equal if black students arent as eager to interact with whites as whites are with blacks?

Maybe Im trippin, but Im more than half Irish. My family NEVER owned slaves, they never had SHIT to do with slavery or racism. They came from the shit of society in the 1840s. A good deal of my Fam was from Chicago and were the "carpetbaggers" who cleaned up the south. Call me whatever you want, but the bottom line is, at least from what I see, a lot of what ruins black America is black America itself. When I say that, dont take it personal because its a BROAD generalization. I mean that, blacks see sports, they see music, they see entertainment. They dont see education or more realistic fields. Blacks are trained in America to think that they are all meant to be athletes etc, and that owneing a car is more important than owning a house. If you think otherwise, Id love to hear what you think, because its not that I think blacks are narrow minded and unintelligent, its that a lot of black people who ive met have not really defended being black, but rather used their race as an exuse. Id love to debate it with you, my AIM name is MaddDogg62. Hit me up and let me know what you think it is. Cause, one thing i noticed, is that Asians place a high value on hard mental work, and education, and higher education, and asians are one of the quickest races to move up in America in the twentieth century.

Anyways, please no one take it personal cause im DRUNK, but most of what I said I mean, to me this video is totally pointless and it regresses society rather than progresses. Please tell me why im wrong.

I think some of the statements you have made are traditional white answers. First off, you didn't go to evenly distributed schools if there was ever a time where there was only one or two black kids in any given class. San Diego for one is NOT a diverse place and it is very segregated. Blacks and Latin people live in certain areas along with many Asians. Whites live in others. If you were of the minority and you saw someone who could relate to you in a class, you would sit next to them too. Say you were in Japan and you walked into a class. Everywhere you go are Japanese people and you see an American. You would most likely strike up a convo with them because your experiences are most likely similar or relatable. That doesn't mean that you are shutting other people out. It means you are looking for someone to relate and bond with. You might see white people who are nice to black people all day, every day but what you might not notice are the little sublimal things (that might not be overtly racist) that black people have to deal with day in and day out. Being non-black, you wouldn't understand. I can't fully understand it either, but I see it EVERY DAY with my girlfriend and friends.

There are some black people who are predjudice against whites. Many times they are older and have seen nothing but discrimination and hatred by whites toward them. It's almost like being in a foreign land when you are treated like a second class citizen in your own country. Younger people may also have a bone to pick when they are constantly victims of little stupid shit said by white people like "I bump rap and am socially conscious, therefore it's like I'm black too!". Of course you didn't say that to these kids, but it's little stereotypical shit like this that will make an ordinary black man want to slap the shit out of you. What you listen to, how you talk and where you live will never make you black. At the end of the day, you can put on a shirt and tie and walk into a rich area with no one being the wiser about your rap fetish. A black man can do the same and be assumed he has a rap fetish and a criminal record based on skin color alone.

Looking back at it I guess you are right. If I was in Japan I would probly sit next to the first white person I saw, but then again the main factor would be that no one else would speak english. What I dont get, at least from what I see, is why when there is a room full of people, especially hot chicks, why one black dude will walk in a sit down right next to another black dude and chop it up. Thats real love and its tight that they can do that, my point is I never really see a black dude walk into the same room and sit down next to a white guy and chop it up about shit. I guess Im not tryin to say they are shutting themselves out, but based on my personal experience I notice that blacks dont try to interact with whites the way they try to interact with blacks. I think if everyone interacted a little more and if blacks could walk into that same room and chop it up with whites or vice-versa wed all be a little more comfortable and wed all get along a little better.

As far as your personal attack on my bumping rap music and being socially concious comment, Im not hear to tell you im black. Like I said Im Irish, I have blond hair and blue eyes, and Im proud of who I am and the way I look. My point is, I have quite a bit in common with black folks. Im not tryin to 'identify' with them, its just true. Back in SF growin up I had a lot of black friends and even dated several black women. Now that Ive moved from SF to SD and go to school out here, I have almost all white friends and I think the reason why is because of shit like I said earlier in the classroom. Im not out to have a diverse pool of friends, I kick it with people who like me, but Ive always gotten along with people from all races, and I guess I think its kinda funny that a black dude will walk into a room and chop it up with a black dude for hrs while theyre waitin for the teacher but wont turn around and give a white person the time of day you know what Im sayin? You always here black activists talking about segregation and shit about whites not giving blacks the same oppurtunity, usually talkin about job positions or school admissions or affirmative action or something about the law. What Im talkin about is society in general. Im sayin a black dude will give mad love to another dude if hes black and not show the same love to a white dude. I understand that what the Irish had to go through for their first 100 years in America, the blacks have had to go through for 400 and thats fucked up, but Im sayin I think to improve race relations everyone should treat everyone the same.

And I guess your right about the living situation in SD. Ive only been out here a few years but Ive noticed that some neighborhoods are overwelming mexican/black while other areas are overwelmingly white. When I said "evenly distributed" I meant that people were spread across the room and there was a choice for someone who walked in to sit anywhere (although the group was pretty diverse). I think SDSU's black population is only like 5% or less, and Im not really sure what the procedure is for letting people in but that number should definitely be improved.

I hope that makes my point a little more rational, cause looking back I think I made some broad generalizations, but then again its hard and it takes a lot of time to cover all aspects of a broad topic like this.

Yup, but it's still segregated in a lot of ways. Still, it's probably the closest thing to "the melting pot" that there is.
Try living on Guam. You got an even mix of:
Chamoro's (local's), Hawaiian, Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Australian, Palau's, Truk's, Malaysians, White & Black Military - White & Blacks - Islanders (they're different enough to count as 2 differnet cultures), Vietnamese . . .

A lil' of everybody. Aside from everybody not understanding what the hell everybody is saying, all got along good! Not to mention one of the worlds most beatiful concentration of women (as you could imagine).

I'll always consider Guam the ultimate "Melting Pot"

Got you...but you know how they always try to call America the "Melting Pot" when really it's not...it's more like a tossed salad. There's a whole lot of lettuce, a few tomatos and carrots here and there...but it's by no means like a cheese soup that's consistent throughout. Feel me? The concept of a melting pot is to say that everyone is so mixed that it's all melted together and you can't tell the difference from one spoonful to the next. Total assimilation of every bite. Not so in America. That might be a goal someday, but it's not reality now.
