what would happen when the latino belt is up for grabs between a latino and an african american (this has happened before) and the african american wins the fight? Is he the latino champ? lol
The WBC is the most wacky, they're the ones who invented the diamond belt for pacquiao, they're the ones that are ranking Margarito as the #1 junior middleweight and allowing him and pac to fight for the vacant belt after telling sergio martinez he couldn't own two WBC belts in two different weight classes at the same time. lol they are horrible, mainly cuz of President for life Jose Sulaiman, the same guy who suspended Chris Arreola for 6 months because of swearing and numerous other bizarre shit. It's nothing new though, Jose Sulaiman is the same guy that allowed Sugar ray leonard to fight for both the 175 pound WBC belt AND the 168 pound belt against Donny Lalonde on the same night.
But again, most of these wacky things don't mean much in boxing. People recognize who are real champs and who aren't.
