i agree wholeheartedly on that but i'm trying to make the distinction between the two types of violence. so ya he might not be as attentive as he should be to community/civilian violence, but if there is foul play going on with this story and other police related situations then it needs to be brought to light, even if it's done so by people who pick and choose when they want to be an activist.

How does it feel knowing a white dude speaks out more for your community than you do? I do something for somebody EVERY SINGLE DAY! I don't Youtube it, I don't rap about it, and I don't try to capitalize off it. I'm struggling myself right now, but I still do it...and I do it because that's who I am. You speak on it, and put it up right next to your Xtraplan shit...to capitalize off an unfortunate situation. That ain't bein' REAL at all...and don't think anybody is blind to that fact.
You want to be an activist, but you seem to pick and choose what you stand up for...and so far, it seems like poor judgment to me. How often do you give at risk youth an avenue to better their situation?? How often do you just sit down with a youngster from the hood and talk to them like a normal human being? Maybe pick 'em up and take 'em to lunch? Give 'em a little cash to spend on some shoes, or some candy...or whatever the fuck? Talk to 'em about growing up to do shit the RIGHT WAY?
