everyone felt he deserved it but kobe does as well, even KG but it dont matter really who gets it. who ever gets the mvp fibnals trophy is MVP for the year IMO.

just looks good on your trading card i guess cause it really aint shit. Tom Brady won MVP this yer and i can care less. the only time the reg MVP award is impressive is if they make it the whole and and win that one too like duncan did. but hey i'm not knockin the mvp award it just shouldnt be a big deal thats all cause it really aint shit if u go out in the 1st round or even the playoffs in general

I'm sorry but Points>Rebounds>Assists. They keep it in that order for a reason.

I'm not knockin CP cuz he's a great player but Kobe got the MVP on lock this year. CP will probably have to wait 1 more year.

Rebounds greater than assists? I dont know about all that. Its MUCH harder to get 5 assists than it is to get 5 rebounds, only based on the fact that YOU are relying on SOMEONE else to complete that stat for you. An assist is only a pass if the player who receives the pass misses the shot and goes for nill.

Although assists are harder to obtain, they are still one of the most overated stat there is in any sport. That's why there are only a few pg's to ever win the regular season MVP award.

A rebound takes ONE person...an assist takes TWO.

Thats like saying completed passes in the NFL by QB's are overrated.

The reason PG's dont usually get the award, is becuase of several reasons, not becuase of assists...thats fuckin SILLY to say the least.

IMO an assist can be overrated. if u see an amazing pass or an alley oop then yeah thats the shit but if it's just an easy pass and homeboy shoots then it really aint shit. rebounds everyone is goin for near the rim and are a more important stat. say if ur team was to have 0 rebounds the whole game there would be no way to win that game really. if your team was to have 0 assist u can still win it. I dunno i just feel Rebs are more important, specially in playoffs series
