I've went to 4.
I went to 2 community colleges in Aberdeen, WA and Olympia, WA. Between the two, I got my Direct Transfer Associate of Arts degree.
I am now at Western Washington University studying towards a 4 year degree in Spanish. I am considering adding a French minor, but it will be hard to cram in.
Last fall, I spent about 4 months at the University of Guadalajara studying Spanish Literature, Conversation, Grammar, etc. It was awesome. The Mexican Government pays for the college of all qualified Mexican students, so their facilities were very impressive.
INSHALLAH:
After I am done at WWU, I am seriously thinking about going for a Masters in Initial Teaching. I have about 6 months to decide. If I do, it will be in Washington state, and I'll be wanting to teach Spanish and French at the Secondary level.
If I can start teaching and qualify for reduced-price classes, it would always be great to go back for the Masters in Spanish. A Doctorate would be great before I turn 40.
Holler.
(And please, people. Don't turn this into a "Colleges only brainwash people!" thing, or a "Anything you learn in college, I can learn for free just by picking up a book, hahaha, idiot!" thing. Don't be so predictable.)
