like "work at home" type shit?
why isnt that up to mexico?
Everyone's got their own hustles in Mexico outta their home. That's not what I mean though, I'm talking about more organized labor where they can actually do things to improve the towns and cities of Mexico while employing people at the same time, sort of a Mexican "New Deal" approach...

it isnt americas job to make mexico's population economically comfortable...is it?

thats the mexican presidents job to figure out
atleast i think it is, i mean america cant fix everyones poverty issues
No, but when America has a direct impact to why Mexico is so poor, it IS America's responsibility. They are a major reason why Mexico is so poor and always has been, so I put responsibility on them. You may disagree however...

but do you feel that a program that instilled organized labor would sooner or later be infiltrated by the same corruptness that it attempted to dodge?

i mean, all the people whom operate on that way of living arent going to just dissapear.

but i do agree, something should be done, but the reality is that poverty does breed desperation..so theres always going to be prostitutes..drug sellers...and people looking to capitalize on any and all situations of weakness..

yeah, i sort of disagree with saying that america is the reason that mexico is poor. we *DO* have some impact of course! but all of the countries across the world are poor, but its not like america is this big queen ant that the world can count on for all of its needs.

i mean, would you increase the tax on a dollar to 50 cent to help out the rest of the world?

its fucked up everywhere, theres so many issues that its hard to even know where to start..we look into trying to clean up our mess in iran/iraq and then katrina pops off.....its like...wheres superman when you need em.

It's not that complicated, how about the United States leaving other countries and taking their business out too? It's US corporations that go to other countries and exploit the people and the resources of the country, all under the name of democracy...

well if youre looking for me to defend america, not gonna happen.

but it is what it is, and america cant help everyone.

they might be able to hurt everyone, but they cant help everyone

not much long ago there were slaves in this country
apparently in arizona, until the late 80s

America exploits everyone, and it has been that way for a long time. Does that mean that everyone should just go along with it and let it continue to happen? I sure don't think so...

why is it that the same ''fuckdapolice,stopsnitchen,pro-ILLEGAL drug use'' muthafuckers always switch it up to ''the laws the law'' when it comes to immigration?
If i get caught doing something, the law is still the law. I'm not exempt from laws just because i dont like law enforcement or snitches.

If i sneak on a boat as a stoaway, i don't expect them to put me in a suite and give me free dinners like the people who were actually supposed to be on that boat. I would realize that i did something that was against rules and i'd have to face consequences.

i dont think illegal immigrants have a consequence to face, i believe they should be allowed to stay, but as far as citizenship, if you werent born here you should have to follow whatever laws weve set up for citizenship, fuck it.

if this was just a free country to pop up in, everyone would be here.

so obviously theres a process to get in.
you can go through the process or not..right?

i know quite a few immigrants from even poorer areas in the world, and they seemed to have had no problem in getting here legally.

they could technically, just shut down the borders. its not like mexico has huge imports in USA beyond drugs anyway, which will still get here regardless.

and the borders a joke. you can throw a baby over the wall if it was that serious.

ive walked through the border crossing while the border official was asleep and just passed by with no word. that was yeeeears ago.

I'm not even arguing that though, I'm saying that the money thrown at the immigration problem by the government is wasted because the programs they develop don't do shit. I'm just saying be more efficient with the money and not just waste it, like building a fuckin wall knowing damn well that there would be tunnels made to begin with.

How about some money thrown for some programs IN Mexico? The changes need to happen in Mexico (NAFTA, etc.,)
why is it americas job to fund programs in MEXICO... and as for bitching about how hard it is to become a citizen i will say it one more time.... italians, irish, germans, all did that shit legally.....
