I got one of the strongest messages IN MY LIFE, and real talk man. As a Christian(A man who openly admits Christ is his God, Savior and Creator of all things) we must no longer tolerate the bashing of Christianity. We were taught to turn the other cheek, yet we are also taught to fight amongst giants and principalities of evil. We are taught to be proud of who we are regardless how outnumbered we are. We are also taught to stand our ground, never be quick to buckle at the knees or conform to the ways of man. As Christians, we must acknowledge that self righteousness is not a reality, rather righteousness in Christ is. We Sin, we do what you "others" or non-believers do, but does that mean we are not true Christians? We make mistakes, we curse, we commit adultery, we steal, and yes I've known some that have killed.

The Bottom line is this, We as Christians preach about peace, love and salvation, but in this world in order to obtain or maintain those three things we must fight. Fight with Two swords, the Word and the Action. Yes I'll turn the other cheek, but I will not allow you to murder me. Yes I will love my brother, but I will not allow him to continue hurting me. Yes I will do good to all my brethren upon the earth, but I will also stand up for myself, my God, and what is right.

My name in Hebrew, Filipino, and Spanish(Which my real name consists of) means Peaceful Soldier, that's what we are.

like some above me stated, jesus preached love , patience, and etc, which is the same exact thing taught by spiritualists.

the idea is by acting this way, you rise above your animalistic self and eventually become buddha,god, christ consciousness. Whatever you want to call it.

if you want to love, yet hate, then you shall remain where you belong.



also, you talkin bout "we must stand up to ourselves."
the only reason why you got this revelation is because you have finally hopped off of heresys back and stood your ground against him.
i know it feels like a holy thing u did, but real godliness goes beyong what you can ever imagine.

reach for you goals with love, not hate.

thats the same thing other people that reached the christ consciousness state.
i believe whenever jesus reffers to "Me" he means God and not him, the man.
when you look at it from that point of view it makes complete sense.

i still have a problem with the way the bible is written and its very obvious when taken literally.

your argument about the bible being taken literally is wrong, simple because the Authors of the books of the bible wanted the their words to be taken literal. So for us to look at the bible (or anyone for that matter) in its literal form is fine, although it is obvious it should not be.

the authors of the bible expect us to take it literally is because they themselves took jesus' words literally so their interpretation is based according to their perception.

I love how there are so many "other explanations" for what things "really ment" that are written in the bible. I guess the author(s) weren't good at getting their point across clearly or something.

i smell a christian supremacist!!! seriously stockton you devote all your time to this shit and it is enveloping your life which gives you even more incentive to buy into this shit since you have invested so much time and energy. this has led to your split personalities and constant desire to define yourself by your religious views, which it seems after a year or so, you still havent really set in stone. its the snowball effect, you need to step back and take a break dude.

I would have to say so. The conecpts and guidlines that you are supposed to live by as a Christian are not all that difficult, especially if you ACTUALLY, WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE in the Bible. Failing to adhere to those principles would indicate that one in fact does not believe what the Bible says.

thats right, because in islam, sinning is forbidden. So muslims live their life avoiding what they believe is a sin, and my whole family and my previous lifestyle is my proof of that.

just to admit that we all sin automatically conditions ones self into sinning.
