All I am saying is I have read the articles that say Cypress Hill is bloods. Also I heard Mack 10 says something about that too on the WSC cd. But I have never heard it from their mouth.
I would like to see this proof, not to say that you are wrong, its just that my feelings is that they are surenos cause.

1. B-Real supports Sur Street Wear and Joker. Being a Chicano or cuban whatever, in the south it is safe to assume that he knows what he is repping. I mean I cant believe that a blood would rep sur, even for money.

2. on "Eastcoast, West coast killer" video with RBX, Nas and KRS one. B-real's verse on the video has him standing infront of four fools. One of those fools is wearing a "southside" shirt and the others are all flued up. (I know it is said that southerners in the south dont stress flue, but come on all blue and wearing "southside" gear)

3. the most convincing thing, on that video B-Real has. "sur" written with marker in old english on the left side of his face. and "13" on his neck. C'mon now how with all this said can he be a blood that kicks it with sur.

4. I went to the "smoke out" concert in LA and B-real was the host of the concert. he would come out in between acts of the show. He repeadiatly gave props to the "sur" which suprisingly enuff got a good chunk of the crowd all fired up, and it was in LA. my guess is it was that Maravilla crew or something. He was wearing a sur street wear shirt. and Sen dog was wearing a solid flue colored shirt and khakis with white and blue cortezes. Again why would a blood be sporting those colors.

I know what I wrote was kinda long but its cause I didnt want to come across as an ignorant fool, cause I say they are surenos or want to portray themselves as sur. If I didnt write out those reasons ppl would say I thought they were scraps cause they were latin and from the south.

No matter what the proof is even if B-real told me to his face he wasnt sur, I would not believe it cause of the shit I said above.

check the facts look at the video I said he was in its on the DR DRE Aftermath cd. that should clear up all rumors. why would a blood have that shit written on they body even if it wasn't permanent.

^^^^^^^^^ you know what that makes sense to me.
Cause that blood talk was along time ago and the sur shit is just recently.
They (cypress hill) do seem to protray themselves differently infront of certain crowds. sometimes they protray themselves as sur, as hip hop, hard rock, or weed addicts.

so dont just sit there and try to act like its just on them media muther fuckers i mean look at what happened to james edward almos scraps had a contract on his ass for exposing game on the american me movie ****PLUS THE MEDIA FOCUS ON WHATS CRACKIN*****
I'll take it that was directed at me....yeea that's tru what happened 2 Olmos but u think the media cares ? that's just a result of their greed ( and when i say media i mean ALL the sources that have a part in shaping some1's views....from newspaper to television to radio )...they only want money and ratings....maybe norteños were all over the news in norcal, but i doubt LA ever heard about what u were talkin bout.....go anywhere in the world and they will know about LA cuzz that's the trendy thing...it always has been.....theres no rivals for the sureños in LA except themselves (and unpopular gangs to the media)....that's why no1 really cares and always referrs to them as the "ese's".... i'm sure if LA had norteños in it, the title "ese's & ene's" would be just as known and in the media spotlight like "bloods & crips" is....you're pretty much just sayin exactly what i did with the line i bolded from your post above, or at least what i tried to express.....

oh yeea, ....b-real either owns joker wear or is part of it, i'm sure of this, just don't know which one....same with "Latin Thug" wear....don't know if that ever went thru....if any1 knows about any of this, speak on it

yeah when I went this last november I was kinda disapointed. cause I went with some non bangers and I thought it was going to be a hard rock concert. Then I come to find it was a rap/hard rock concert. It was hella weird, it was really for smokers and head bangers. their werent any bad bitches there except for some and they were hella tripping on my Nebraska jersey and red belt. They were like your one of them Darkroom and woodie fools huh. I swear they said that. They just didnt want to say "buster". They wanted to kick it untill they saw that the rest of the ppl I was with werent banging. They were probably gonna set me up, I think. Snoop Dogg fucked up that concert too. He hella sucks how many times can you do a concert with only old songs, I swear that fool is a has been.

LA is always going to get more attention on the West Coast then any other city when it comes to gang shit because LA has more gangs and more gang violence. LA is the gang capital of the US, which is why the media has focused on Crips, Bloods and Surenos because those are the primary gangs here. It has nothing to do with discriminating against Nortenos or Latin Kings or anyone else..

LA is also the entertainment capital of the country so it only makes sense that they'd look in their backyard when it comes to gangs and there aren't any Nortenos here to portray in movies like American Me, Menace II Society and Training Day..

Hollywood doesn't care about prison politics..

And I'm not sure, but I always thought Cypress Hill were affiliated with Surenos, but never claimed anything, but I could be wrong. I'm not exactly a fan..

yeah it comes down to the fact that no matter what you do... in the eyes of the rest of the world along with the media; the place to do a movie about modern street gangs has been and always will be Los Angeles, California. Why is that so hard to understand? Chicago would be next I.M.O. without question by the way.

Internationally the Bay is known for its gay population and Northern California for it's wine and agriculture. Ask anyone who lives outside of California and knows nothing about gangs about Northern California and tell me if I'm wrong..

LOL@ gay population... it figures haters hear about ONE OR TWO streets dominated by gays and suddenly everyones shit talkin the bay. Vamps im sure you dont believe that, cuz it would be as ignorant as me sayin LA is fulla plastic ass people, straight mojados, and the "ey homez youre a buster ese" talkin scrapers makin hispanics look bad. But thats not my oppinion, i choose not to categorize a whole population of people based on a few stories or stereotypes. Just makin a point no offence intended I just think the "gay" thing is just blown outta proportion...

I know people who go to visit their families in the bay all the time and they basically call it "yuppy-ville"...when those same people go to LA to visit they say it's a crazy ass place.

yeah Vamps doesnt think that himself he is reflecting on what the rest of the world thinks. On the other hand yes the rest of the world does think LA is full of fake beverly hills/hollywood people and Eses and shit and thats because IT IS. LA earned that rep just like the Castro District earned its rep and made the rest of the nation think what they do about the SCO.

I know you said it "seems" that a Norteno has to hide his affiliation to become successful(in rap, right?) but what do you base this on? I look at Woodie and East Co Co as being successful in this bay area rap scene and they never hide it. I'm sure Mr. Kee sold alot of units, not just because of his talent but because people assumed he was a Norteno because of his work with Darkroom Familia, a group album with him and Poyo Loko flamed up and throwing 24 block and Westside, and releasing an album called 14K DREAMS on BLACK-N-BROWN.
IM PRETTY SURE HE MEANT "NATIONAL RECOGNITION"

Slippin' Into Darkness

only Norteno video ive seen that they have had online was funky aztec's slippin into darkness hella homies in it.
I came across that mp3 but it was mislabeled as a 2Pac song. By any chance does anyone know which rappers were featured on that song (Slippin Into Darkness)? One of them straight sounds like Cougnut... (??)
