River Jude Phoenix (August 23, 1970 – October 31, 1993) was an American film actor and teen icon. He was the oldest brother of actors Rain, Joaquin, Liberty, and Summer Phoenix.

On October 31, 1993, Phoenix died of a drug overdose on the sidewalk outside the West Hollywood nightclub the Viper Room.

However, because he had consumed heroin the treatment is thought to have been counter productive, as diazepam further enhances the effects of heroin.During the early morning hours of October 31, 1993, Phoenix collapsed outside the club from a drug overdose of heroin and cocaine (known as a speedball) further amplified by the administration of diazepam. He convulsed for five minutes. When his brother Joaquin called 9-1-1, he was unable to determine whether River was breathing. Sister Rain Phoenix proceeded to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, to no avail.

SHERMAN OAKS (KTLA) -- The LAPD is conducting an investigation at Charlie Sheen's house in Sherman Oaks.

According to TMZ, police are there because of a possible violation of the temporary restraining order obtained by Brooke Mueller -- Sheen's estranged wife -- and the violation apparently involves weapons.

TMZ reports that Sheen and others inside the house are eating hamburgers.

Police say they will release a statement shortly.

Isis Taylor Might Be Charlie Sheen's Next Goddess

According to her Twitter feed, porn star Isis Taylor has made it to the second round of the application process to become one of Charlie Sheen's "Goddesses."
Ms. Taylor was either pretty lucky or lucky that she's pretty; TMZ reports that 74,000 people applied for the job last week.
In related news, one of Charlie's former Godesses, porn star Kacey Jordan, tried to kill herself last night. Taking a cue from Sheen himself, she went on a drug and alcohol binge and tweeted, "those 16 hours i was with charlie sheen... messed me up... i can't get that image out of my head... i think i keep trying to feel his pain."
Fox News reports that when Chicago police arrived at the Peninsula Hotel, "Jordan was sitting on her bed with prescription pill bottles, broken glass and alcohol all over her room."
At least now Isis knows what comes with the job.

isis taylor is peruvian, israeli, & scottish.

peru is hella multiethnic so she definitely could have some african ancestry, but it's not like she's taken a dna test & there are no pictures of her parents/grandparents online so who really knows.
