Im on my lunch break from lab so i cant answer everything right now, but i will by later tonight. But regarding what you wrote here, In a chain of narrarations there is actually many names, but when it is written down or spoken, it is shortend by only listing the first person who narrarated the Hadith, meaning the person who heard it from Mohammad (SAW).
The chain of narrarations is stated in sahih collections (and all other collections)books to show the chain for the people that come after, so people centuries after know the chains or else people can just say bukhari made that up. I have a friend who is planning on going to study in Medina and he is a Hafith, but also is working on memorizing some hadiths along with all of their narrarations. His friend already in Medina has 4,000+ ahadith memorized all with their chain of narrarations. So as you can see it is very useful.

meaning their faith will not reach their heart, they just put on a strong front that they are faithful. These are the extremists, and today Al-Qaeda is considered to be those people.

In the end the researcher stated that a persons sexuality preference is dictated by five genes. If three or more of those genes are not turned on then there will be a preference for the same gender. During the Q & A session someone asked the researcher about a cure since they have detected the problem, but the researcher said there is no need for a cure because in his eyes it is not a problem. So there is a cure for homosexuality. In Islam homosexuality is real, and it is a test from God. Its not a sin to be homosexual, but it is a sin to act on your desires.
And that difference is what made you a sufi
And you can also see from the link I gave you that your beliefs were straight Sufi. There are people who are Sufis and there are people who call themselves sunni but practice the sufi way. Example, Hamza Yusuf has a school out here in Santa Clara with a front that it’s a sunni school, but in fact it teaches Sufism.
