First let me say R.I.P. to Cash and my prayers go out to his family. Its unforunate that it takes a rapper to die and get shot before people realize how senseless all this violence in the bay is. If you look at the big picture he is just another one of hundreds of people gettin kilt out here every year. Does someone like E-40, Keak, or the Jacka have to get killed before we realize how all this death is worthless. We need to wake up. Pay our respects but realize he's not the first and if we don't change this shit ourselves he won't be the last.

This from Vallejo times herald RIP CA$H.

Shooting leaves man, 25, gravely injured
By MATTHIAS GAFNI and NOLAN HEBERT/Times-Herald staff writers
Article Launched: 03/30/2007 06:45:38 AM PDT

A 25-year-old man was on life support Thursday night after getting shot multiple times in a Vallejo apartment complex parking lot, police said.

If the victim, listed in grave condition late Thursday, was not to survive, Vallejo would have its sixth homicide victim of 2007, one more than all of last year. It saw 16 in 2005 and nine in 2004.

Thursday's shooting victim, who police weren't naming pending notification of family, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the north end of the Sereno Village Apartments, 750 Sereno Drive. The complex's parking lot was the site of a homicide earlier this year as well.

Eli Isaac Griffin, 29, of Vallejo, was shot to death Jan. 3 and his body dumped in the north Vallejo apartment complex. Two men accused of murdering Griffin had their preliminary hearing held this week in a Solano County court.

The second incident of the year at Sereno Village led the complex to bring in the Professional Officers Group, a security firm, to monitor the area.

A security company official said late Thursday that they were asked by management to begin locking the property down, including maintaining a physical presence at the front entrance, checking IDs and screening out non-residents.

Eventually a gate will be erected, the source said.

Sereno Village management declined to comment.

Officers responded to numerous "shots fired" calls from apartment residents, police said, around 10:25 a.m. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital, police said.

Vallejo police spokesman Rick Nichelman said he could not provide any more details as there was an "ongoing investigation."

Damn, R.I.P. CA$H...

Definitely 1 of the Most Lyrical out the Bay...Him, Rydah, and Mall the reasons I still listen to Thizz. Sad to see another talented person coming out of a Urban neighborhood being killed when everyone could see dude definitely had a bright future ahead of him, if not mainstream dude probably would still go down in history as a Bay great in his short time being here.

once again, R.I.P. The Fast Gunna.
