It's no more hypocritical than what your response would be if I provided a scenario that painted you into a situation where you most likely would contradict yourself.
Eventually we all contradict ourselves if poked and prodded and were data mined enough. Especially with this issue because there are so many scenarios and variables that can be applied.
Ultimately, my point is rooted in a belief of self accountability and you shouldn't blame someone else if you get "snitched" on.
