Shit for all we know this might be what the Modern Warfare series needs to reinvent itself. Infinity Ward are some cocky bastards...I wanna see what they cook up next also

PC gamers who felt burned by the decision to drop dedicated server support for Modern Warfare 2 may have a friend in that other Call of Duty developer Treyarch. The developer all but confirms dedicated server multiplayer in Black Ops.

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia tells CVG that dedicated servers are "excellent" and that the Call of Duty: Black Ops team is "excited about what we're doing right now."

If that doesn't quite sound like solid, undeniable confirmation to you, maybe this will make you feel a tad better. Lamia says that Treyarch is working to "reconcile" the needs of those who want to play on dedicated servers and those who want a more console-like multiplayer experience.

"We're working very hard to marry those two things, so people can run dedicated servers and also participate in the communal experience the console players get to have, given they're all on first-party servers," he says

Just saw a commercial on ESPN that said the World Premier for Black Ops would be May 18th (I think) during the Conference Championships.

From OXM magazine

"And if you dont know already, basically only MP news: Create a Class 2.0 customization like never before. Includes kit, appearance, perks"

What stands out is appearance, looks like this game might actually have custom uniforms.

Well last time I heard anything, Infinity Ward got fired because of non-obedience. So just like Halo lost Bungie, they also lots a whole shit load of fans, brownie=points, and series of games. Once Halo lost Bungie and tried to make ODST, everything fell through the shitter. Which equals CoD losing Infinity Ward, they just basically fucked themselves over and Black Ops won't be as great as suspected. And yes there is a Zombie type Horde for it.

Dude, there's nothing right with your post.

As someone already said, IW never had anything to do with Black Ops. Activision has had IW and TreyArch on alternating development cycles for CoD for the past few years. IW made CoD2, TA made CoD3 (didn't have 2 years though), IW made CoD4MW, TA made CoDWaW, IW made CoDMW2 and now TA is making CoDBO.

Also, Bungie is still on Halo, through Halo: Reach. They made ODST, it was just a smaller team that worked on it, while the majority of the studio was working on Reach.

The only thing that may be right with your post is the Zombie mode, which was in WaW, because TREYARCH (not IW) made it.
