As of right now, IW is still owned by Activision, but there's rumors that they'll close it down.

I think it will be very Good. I just started getting into the COD Series and i think it has some of the Most Spectatular Gameplay and Multiplayer Modes ever in a Game. Shit is fucking addicting. BLACK OPS looks intresting. If you realyl like COD W.A.W, I'm sure this will be right up your Alley. Treyarch is Puttin in major work for 2010..... you'll see.

Can't really say they throw any COD together....Treyarch and Infinity Ward had 2 years to put together every single game since they leapfrogged every one. Now that Infinity Ward seems to be over who knows if they're gonna make Treyarch do one every year or get another studio in the rotation

Spot on.

The only one that didn't have two years of dev time was Call of Duty 3 by TreyArch. That one had like a year I believe.

There's another studio working on something CoD related...Sledgehammer is the studio I think.

Activision said they've been bringing in talent to IW to keep MW3 on track.
