Wouldn't it be more respectful to spend 5 bucks on Burger King and just sit back and watch some of his flicks for the day, rather than spend a buck fifty on a piece of fish just so you might be able to see the back of the head of his wife who you wouldn't know if you passed the broad on the street?

Just sayin.

Plus why don't they spend a few bucks trying to figure out who killed Brandon Lee under extremely suspicious circumstances?
ITS JUST MONEY RIGHT?IVE MET LINDA AND SHANNON LEE BEFORE.THEY WERE BOTH COOL PEOPLE.AND THEY SHARED ALOT OF MEMORIES OF BRUCE THAT WAS COOL.THEY PROBLY WONT REMEMBER ME OR MY UNCLE WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THAT?LOL I JUST WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME KICK BACK AND HERE SOME MORE STORIES ABOUT ONE OF THE GREATEST MARTIAL ARTISTS OF ALL TIME.AND EAT SOME SHARK FIN SOUP GODDAMMIT....LMAO....

30 bucks a piece for what you went to is not even close to a buck fifty for the same thing.

Plus "it's just money?"

If money is "just money" then why ask for so much just to eat and hear stories? I can hear all sorts of dope shit about Bruce Lee on the internet.
OH WELL ILL JUST LOOK AT IT AS A CHARITABLE DONATION.LOL....

Correction: Bruce Lee was a fighter first. Then became an actor. Read up on it.

Bro there is no denying that Bruce Lee was ahead of his time and is in fact a Legend. Like it or not, that is a fact.

We can not discredit the things that have made an impact and remain Legendary.

All this, he'd get his ass handed to him in today's world is meaningless. It's your opinion and that's as far as it's ever gonna go.

I respect it though.
Double correction, I said he was an actor more so than a fighter not that he was an actor first and a fighter second. Read my post back again.

I think when it comes down to it, win or loose - the 1 thing a warrior wants is to be remembered.

Bruce Lee will be remembered by endless generations...

..can the same be said for any of our current MMA fighters?

"All fixed set patterns are incapable of adaptability or pliability. The truth is outside of all fixed patterns."

"If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them."

"If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of."

"It's not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential. "

"Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system. "

"Showing off is the fool's idea of glory. "

"Real living is living for others. "

"Take no thought of who is right or wrong or who is better than. Be not for or against. "

"Knowledge will give you power, but character respect. "

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Likwid is still a dumb fucc!!!
Who cares about your mma fighters!!
Ok, lets not belittle MMA fighters..that isnt smart...anyone who respects fighting and fighters in general has to respect MMA fighting IMO..usually people who brush off MMA fighting, they usually have no idea...

You might not like what Likwid is saying about Bruce, but belittling MMA only makes you look like a fool...im just saying..

It's been known and said by many people, any time they filmed in China, a grip of martial artists would come up and repeatedly challenge bruce and he would avoid it and avoid it until he couldn't anymore and broke them off somethin awful.

It's hard to compare the fighter that started a revolutionary idea and a fighter that's had 35 years of the principles he created and have been expanded to each other but if you ask me if I'd rather have Dick Butkis or Mike Singletary on my team than Brian Urlacher, I'd take the older 2 every time

Lmao @ people getting butt hurt. Bruce Lee was awesome. But he was a fucking actor more so than a champion fighter. He would get his ass handed to him in a brown paper bag if he fought in any of the premiere leagues of today.
Well, of course he would....he would be 70.

But regardless of that, you are speaking on mere speculation and nothing else. In 1997, UCLA went into Austin to face Texas, who was in the top 5 in the nation and UCLA was, well, not. Not even close. Final score? UCLA 66....Texas 3. Sure, UCLA ended up 10-2, but thats not the point.

What is the point of that? We can all talk about who would beat who, but competition is about matchups and technique.
