That South African card on the 1st is fucking nice. Hopefully it gets thrown up quick considering the caliber of fights they're having. They have a lot of pretty cool fights this month.

I don't care much for Morales fighting Limond but that HBO card on the 11th should be dope. Salido is better than his record indicates and no contest or not I still remember him beating Guerrero like a drum. He's solid, is a non stop puncher, and should put Gamboa to the test.

yep that's the card I'm looking forward too the most, Gamboa is one of the most exciting fighters in boxing right now.

I cant believe Mosley vs Mora is a PPV what a joke! Luckily I have that Free PPV coupon cuz that's exactly what I'm going to use it for. Daniel Ponce De Leon vs. Antonio Escalante could be good the other two fights could/should be blow outs.

Peters need to go all out in the first round against bitchcko, only way he wins and I'm sure most people wants to see him win. Is this the first time Gamboa's been on HBO? Its about time hes getting showcased better.

He fought Darling Jiminez on HBO in 2008 on a good card (Angulo and James Kirkland were on there too).

Most recently he fought ROGERS MTAGWA and beat the shit out of him that was in January (same guy who nearly KO'd JuanMa Lopez). Here is the highlight of that:

yeah morales has had a couple "comeback" fights against some bums, I guess he just cant leave the sport. Him and barrera should just fight again since both are faded versions of their former selves, make some decent money off it and call it a career.

Sadly though I heard rumors that Marquez could fight Morales assuming he beats Katsidis next.

Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy:

"Marquez didn't say he didn't want to fight at 140, only that right now he wants to stay at 135," Schaefer said. "But moving to 140 next year is very possible. We talked about him fighting Erik Morales at 140 next year. He can establish himself at 140, or if Morales wins, it would be big for him. The winner of that possible fight could be a potential opponent for Amir Khan."

Gamboa 126-Pounds, Salido 126

By Ryan Burton, at the scale

Las Vegas, Nevada - WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, and IBF champion Orlando Salido, easily made weight for their scheduled unifcation on Saturday night at The Palms Resort and Casino. Gamboa came in ripped and ready at the division limit of 126-pounds, and Salido, also in good shape, was 126-pounds. The fight will be televised by HBO.

In the HBO televised co-feature, somebody will lose their "0" - as undefeated lightweights Brandon Rios and Anthony Peterson made weight for their championship eliminator. Rios had to strip down and made the division limit of 135-pounds. Peterson was shredded, coming in a pound under at 134-pounds.

Gamboa was impressive but is pushing his luck by leaving his hands down so much. Round 12 had to be the wierdest round ive seen and im surprised Gamboa didnt get disqualified but I'm sure glad that didnt happen cuz i hate fighters like Salido basically dirty boxing as far as im concerned how he fights.

It was mainly Salido holding, that was really his only way being able to even compete against Gamboa. He would throw punches while moving forward and then hold right away, that shit is annoying. Im surprised Gamboa didnt brawl more cuz he was pretty successful at it.

^^^ there may be some truth to that but he has more talent then Lacy cuz he doesnt just brawl, he actually stays on the outside more now which is smart. I cant see anyone trading punches with him, he will win that way every time
