A couple of fights that deserve mention. Moreno Vs. Cermeno scrap again for Moreno's portion of the bantamweight title. The first fight was in Cermeno's country and was real close .. this one is in Moreno's hometown (for once, dude is as much of a traveling champion as anyone) and should be pretty dope.

Calderon Vs. Segura is probably the best fight that can be made at light flyweight. This is for lineage, even though Calderon is the Ring champion at the weight class he never actually won the lineal title .. this is #1 & #2 throwing down a very significant fight.

EDIT: Also if I was Senchenko or his management I'd be itching to try and sign a fight with Matthew Hatton. Hatton just beat Nuhnzenko, who Senchenko beat for his title. It would be a good money fight and not much of a risk for him.

Chad Dawson impressed me a lot the first time he fought Tarver, since then not so much. Pascal, the only real test he had was against Froch and lost so i dont think he will beat Dawson and will get out boxed in a decision. Not that exciting a month as far as big name fights but Friday Night Fights has been coming through with great fights consistently so i expect more of the same

Diaconu was a solid LHW when Pascal took his title. In fact Pascal was an underdog going into that fight especially since Diaconu had grinded out Chris Henry. I wasn't too thrilled with Pascal's performance against old Masoe and I think Dawson schools him anyway but Pascal is tough, has decent enough pop, and will be fighting in his home turf .. I think he comes at 100% and gives Dawson a go .. but still loses.

I got Devon Alexander beating up and KO'ing Kotelink in 9rds. This is Cloud's first test against a real pro fighter. If he beats the Road Warrior then we can talk about the big fights. I could careless about Spinks or K-9, but i hope K-9 KO's him. Who you got 2-0-Sixx??

I don't much give a shit about the K9/Spinks fight either but K9 deserves this fight. He was supposed to be in an eliminator on whatever Klitschko card he fought on where he crushed Baysangarov only to be thrown in the ring with Yuri Foreman and then get this rescheduled 71 times. K9's only chance here is hope for Spinks to be rusty.

I'd really be shocked if Kotelnik gets stopped here. Kotelnik took a million punches for Maidana and was beating from post to post against Khan he's not the easiest man to get put away.

And I'm not sure if I think Cloud can handle the pressure that Johnson is gonna put on him. I don't think Cloud has it in him to potshot like Dawson did in the rematch.

^^maybe millions punches Kotelnik took from Maidina and Khan will catch up him. Plus, Urango was a tank, pretty unstoppable force and Alexander KO'd him. Never know.

As for Johnson vs Cloud, Johnson is fighting a younger version of himself. I don't know if an old Johnson can hang with his identical twin of 10-15 years ago.

I wouldn't be shocked if glen pulls it off, it's what he does.

I've seen Urango down and hurt in more than a few fights .. putting him away was impressive. I've rarely seen Kotelnik get badly hurt and you're right it could catch up to him here but it would still be impressive.

the only time I recall Urango getting hurt was by Randall Bailey and as you know his a fuckin hard ass hitter but I haven't seen all his fights.

I kinda have a feeling Alexander may disappoint though. I think there is so much talk about what's next for Alexander (bradley, amir khan, etc.) it can be easy to overlook the guy that you're supposed to beat easily, fights like this are sometimes hard to stay motivated for. So I could see him struggling a bit with his style and good chin and maybe not finishing him off. Reminds me of Bernard Hopkins vs Keith Holmes, which was to set up the fight with Trinidad. Even though Hopkins won easy, his performance was very boring and lackluster in that fight because his eyes were on Trinidad. That's probably why Tito was a 7-1 favorite to beat Bhop

See that's why this is a big fight for Alexander. If he wins and looks impressive in the fight, he will be in the talks for the big fight. This goes for Cloud too. That's why I want to see both fights. They can become stars if they look good in the the ring Saturday. If Alexander wins he will most likely be fighting Bradley. If he beats Bradley, Kahn or Maidana, then one fight at 147lb. He would be ready for the big fight.

I'm pretty sure all Alexander needs to do is win and he's fighting Bradley in Jan. Bradley and Alexander both pretty much confirmed it's a done deal assuming a win.

Cloud is a little more tricky. I have doubts that Dawson will fight him even if Cloud wins impressively. I think Dawson already is only looking for big fights, which imo will be his downfall. He's talking about going down in weight to fight Lucien Bute in Canada and I think he wants to stick around for the super six winners (andre ward maybe).

If Johnson wins it does nothing. Dawson already beat Johnson twice so it seems nearly impossible Dawson would fight him again. So there would be a bit of a dead end at 175 for a while.

FNF is pretty wack today but the ShoBox card looks to be pretty dope. Avalos seems like a can't miss prospect in a loaded division fighting another unbeaten fighter.

It's been reported that Don King will be ringside with Floyd Mayweather & Mike Tyson for tomorrows fights. With the Mayweather tweets, the pictures of him & King and the picture of the supposedly $100,000,000 contract, it's looking more and more that just maybe Floyd is going to sign with King.
