i cant believe these fools are charging 40 bones for the fight this weekend........morales stopped this cat two years ago,i dont even know why barrerra is fighting this has been.......i dont know???maybe the south paw will give him some problems but i doubt it though.....i missed yall discussion on tsyzu this week but im about to give my opinion now,im not a tszyu fan and from the leijia fight i gather that kostya maybe slowing down a little bit but he is the undiputed champion in his weight class so i dont see why yall cant give him respect as being one of the top fighters and currently the top fighter in his div......i would like to see him against mitchell too because i believe a healthy mitchell could box circles off his ass but no matter how you want to cut it tszyu beat mitchell and then zab two of three top in the div. in a matter of ten months so he gets credit were credit is deserved......right now i dont think zab deserves a rematch,i mean what has that fool done in a year and a half except get a unimpressive boring decision against a b-level fighter......mitchell and gatti though are two different stories and both of them deserve a shot at tszyu......and im probably going to catch some heat from yall on this but although i consider barrerra one of the top five fighters in the world today....i think styles make fights and i believe derrick gainer would beat barrerra if they were to fight......shit, i honestly believe gainer would fair well against marquez, morales and he would woop the princes ass.....the only one of the four i think would beat gainer would be morales because he is tall for a feather weight and i think his punch out put would pay off in either earning a tko or a decision.......i was reading the usa today last week and hopkins and winky wright are talking about a september 19-20 fight for the undisputed middle weight title a week after mosley-delahoya.........

i dont think that gainer can beat any top notch fighter. he has no chin at all. he is very fast. but no chin and all of the above fighters especially barrera, and morales have mad power for little guys and can be hit with a brick to the head and wont get fazed. i mean i just cant think too highly of some1 without a chin (gainer).

I have always liked Smoke and caught a lot of flak for pulling for him, but in fights against top level fighters he might get a few wins here and there, but he would get caught and the fight would be over. I love to watch him fight cuzz either hes putting someone out or their putting him out. I would love to see him and Barrera fight, and I think it would be a good fight, but Marco would land a clean shot sometime and end it, but in the meantime it would be great.

Back to Tszyu, the man that will be taking his belts in the near future will be fighting soon. Youngster Miguel Cotto has the goods, this kid is awesome, I know its early, but give him a year at the rate he is fighting and I think he will be ready for a tittle shot.

Every time I look at Gainer, I see him getting knocked out by Corrales. He isn't as good as RJ would lead you to think.
He's a good fighter but not champion material, I didn't even see him win this past Saturday.
However I will say that he'll give Barrera a good fight because of his height. But I just don't see him standing a chance against Moralez or Marquez.
He's a temporary champ.
Well except if he fights the Princess, I don't see Hamed beating anyone anymore....

Now to Tszyu, I give him his due. Like it or not, he beat Judah and Mitchell..... But it's only a matter of time until he gets in the ring with one of those guys again.
Ricky Hattan is knocking on the door and Cotto's maturing into a very good fighter.
This is the best Puerto Rican fighter I've seen in a long ass time.
Camacho was too deffensive minded and Trinidad was to offensive minded. Cotto is well ballanced, good deffense and great offense.
He's fun to watch, lets see what happens.

Wright VS Hopkins would make an interesting fight, lets see if the winner of De La Hoya VS Mosley will fight the winner.
I think I'm gonna hit Vegas for the De La Hoya fight in Sept....
Can't wait....

Anyways, Wright VS Hopkins? Who wins?
I pick Hopkins. Not because of size advantage but because of Winky's bad habbit of fighting dull and slow.
He can give Hopkins a good fight if he opens up.

I would take Hopkins over Winky in a snorer, lotta holding. If I wasnt getting married in September I would be going to the fight to see Oscar/Shane also, but I get to see my Bears beat up on the Niners in the opening week of the NFL season so that makes up for it. I will be going to Vegas for the next UFC in June. Cotto has impressed me a lot. I was supposed to go to the fights this weekend but got caught up at work so I will miss them, I hope they get a good turnout so they might bring some more bigger name fighters into Cali to fight.

Then you're going to be dissapointed twice.
Ain't no chance in hell them "cubs" are beatin my team LOL!

Hey what did you think about Foreman's comments regarding Barrera? I think he went out of line by saying that he's not as good as people think he is since he doesn't have one of those corrupted sanctionning body belts.
He's a hater if you ask me, and it was funny that Kelly pointed out that Barrera is the King of the division.
I would've loved hear what Foreman would say to that.
Barrera threw away his WBC belt, so fucking what? He's the Ring's undisputed champ, that's all that matters.
Foremen as a former fighter himself should respect that.
Out of all people he should know that these alphabet belts are run by corrupted people.
But know, he won't acknowledge that because he's a Barrera hater....

I wish Larry and George were more like Jim Lampley, unbiased....

Its tough to knock Barrera, I dont care for belts as much as I used to. It does help to market a fighter, but you get to a point when it doesnt matter. Marco is a prime example. His record is second to none and he is always active and will fight all comers, so what if he doesnt have a belt, he is top 5 P4P in most peoples minds without one.

As great a fighter Foreman was, sometimes he is way off when he talks. I remember when they had a P4P debate before the James Page/6 Heads Lewis fight, and Foreman said that Mosley or Tito would have to beat Page to be the #1 P4P champ, I fell out laughing, and then 6 Heads KOed Page. I like Foreman but you cant take everything he says to heart, and about the sanctioning bodies, they protected him as well. I dont know if you ever saw his fight against Axel Schultz, he lost easy but was giving the nod cuzz he was the champ and made them much more many than Axel would have. Once he was not the champ though, they turned on him and gave Shannon Briggs a BS win over Foreman in his last fight.

Oh yeah, Bears and Kordell are going to shut out the Niners and get some payback for the last time we were in the Bay. 17-0 and TO set the record for receptions in a game, it will be a different game this time. I cant believe I have to root for Kordell Stewart.

Sounds like wrestling commentary.
Bobby and Gorilla Monsoon LOL!

Big E,
Kordell ain't that bad. He just happens to fold under pressure.
Playing for a team that won't set high ass expectations should help him.

LOL! I forgot about what Foreman said about Page.
I guess I'll forgive his ass for being old.
Yeah I remember the Schultz fight as well as the ass whoopin he gave Shanon Briggs.
I sat there in disbelief, Briggs was afraid.
He faught with fear, of an old man.

Good fights coming up this weekend.
Navarro fights on Friday, Mayweather and Cotto on Saturday.
Mayweather VS Sosa should be a good fight, Sosa's better than most think.
