Dude Floyd has two belts idiots. He just fought at 154. Now he is defending his title in his main weight class of 147. So are yall saying that he cant fight in his main division where he normally fights with a title on the line? LMAO! The dude cant defend both titles at the same time lol. Got Em!!
The man already explained it. Let me quote the most important part:

GGG has zero obligation to fight Ward or Chavez since they aren't in the same weight class.
Khan = not a mandatory fight.

Maidana = not a mandatory fight.

Lara = mandatory fight.

Mother fucker.....

He was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2002 in Outagamie County, Wisc.

2nd Degree Sexual Assault

Sex Abuse in the Second Degree: Four Separate Alternatives

Commits sex act while displaying a dangerous weapon in a threatening manner;
- Dangerous weapon is “any instrument or device of any sort whatsoever which is actually used in such a manner as to indicate that the defendant intends to inflict death or serious injury upon another, AND which when used is capable of inflicting death upon a human. This includes among other things, any offensive weapon such as a firearm, knife having a blade exceeding five inches, or razor.
- Use or threatening to use force that would create a substantial risk of death to any person;
- Actual injury is not necessary just a real danger of death or serious injury.
- Victim under the age of 12
- Knowledge of age is completely irrelevant.
- Aiding and abetting another in committing sexual assault through force or against the will of the victim.
damn, that's crazy. f this dude. I hope he gets mopped. How is this just now coming out in the news?

Stevenson Adonis (yes, that's his real name) had sex charges on him too which is why he was locked up, but he sounds like he was more of a pimp than anything. I think he had sexual assault or something from what I heard. Not sure though.

DeGale still waiting in line for title shot; Chavez Jr. installed as No.1 WBC challenger
March 6th, 2014 | Post Comment - 30 Comments

julio cesar chavez jr james degale By Scott Gilfoid: #2 WBC James DeGale 18-1, 12 KO’s) is going to need to wait for his title shot against WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika a little bit longer, as the World Boxing Council has installed Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32 KO’s) as the #1 WBC challenger to Bika. DeGale was passed over by the WBC for some reason. There had been talk that DeGale would fight Badou Jack in a WBC super middleweight eliminator bout, but that idea went out the window with Jack’s 1st round knockout loss to Derek Edwards last month on February 28th.

Some of DeGale’s fans then thought that he’d automatically be installed as the mandatory challenger for Bika by the WBC, but apparently the WBC had other ideas.
They felt that Chavez Jr. was the better man to be the mandatory than DeGale, as they ignored the British Boxing Board of Control’s advice to have DeGale as the No.1 mandatory for Bika, according to the Bristolpost.

My take on this is that the WBC might have been turned off by DeGale’s horrible opposition since his loss to George Groves, and they might have seen DeGale as totally undeserving of being the No.1 based on the soft opponents he’d been fighting in the last three years. I mean, let’s be real about this; DeGale hasn’t exactly been going out of his way to face talented opposition since the Groves fight.

Look at the guys that DeGale has fought during the last three years and you tell me if he deserves to be the WBC No.1 challenger: Gevorg Khatchikian, Dyah Davis, Stjepan Bozic, Sebastien Demers, Fulgencio Zuniga, Hadillah Mohoumadi, Cristian Sanavia and Piotr Wilczewski. That’s pretty much eight consecutive tune-up fights without a quality opponent mixed in, isn’t it? Where are the talents like Andre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell and Edwin Rodriguez? How could DeGale have gone all those years without fighting one of them or at least some quality fighters.

For me, I think the WBC has been way too kind in ranking DeGale at number 2, because based on his terrible opposition he’s faced, I think he should be ranked near the bottom around No.15. The WBC needs to send a message that if a contender wants to get ranked high with their organization then they need to stop fighting stiffs and take some risks with their careers by facing talented fighters. I’m sorry, but I just see mediocre opposition as far as the eye can see when I look at DeGale’s resume.

ZAHIR RAHEEM: "MY FOCUS AND DETERMINATION IS TO WIN A WORLD TITLE"
By Press Release | March 06, 2014
ZAHIR RAHEEM:

Four fights into his boxing comeback under the Halquist Productions banner, #6 Ranked WBO Jr. Welterweight, Zahir Raheem (35-3, 21 KOs), is ready to step up to the highest tier and grab the respect that he's vastly fought for throughout his dramatic career. Fighting with a pre-existing hand injury in his NABO title fight with Bayan Jargal on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights in January, Raheem, although victorious, was unable to display the KO power he had shown in his previous three fights. Now, with his hand fully healed, Raheem is primed to make a huge statement in the junior welterweight division and is once again positioned to step back in the ring and face anyone in the weight class.

"Zahir's record speaks for itself," said promoter, Brian Halquist. "Only losing seven times throughout his entire boxing career including the amateurs; he is a pure winner. Now riding a six fight win streak and ranked sixth in the world, Zahir is ready to step up and show the world what he's capable of."

The hand injury that affected Raheem's Friday Night Fights performance against Bayan Jargal came two weeks before the fight during a sparring session. Pre-fight X-Rays showed that the right hand had indeed been broken, but knowing that this wasn't an opportunity he could miss along with the Friday Night Fights main event already in trouble due to the Arash Usmanee injury, Zahir knew it was best to fight with the injured hand. While the pain was manageable pre-fight, the hand was severely aggravated only a couple of minutes into the fight, effectively forcing Zahir to fight one handed for ten rounds.

Dedicating his life to the sport of boxing, including going an astonishing 213-4 in the amateurs and earning a spot on the 1996 U.S. Olympic boxing team headlined by Floyd Mayweather Jr., Raheem is ready to take on the best fighters in the world. After giving boxing his all throughout his 17 year career, Raheem is once again ready for the biggest spotlight that Boxing has to offer and couldn't be more excited.

"First and foremost I cannot change things I have no control over," said Raheem. "I say that because I find myself focusing on being a more exciting fighter. I have no control over my injury that happened during the Jargal fight. All I could do was figure out how to win with one hand. My focus and determination is to win a world title and have fans and networks begging me not to retire when that time comes."

Raheem's shining moment came in 2005 when he outclassed Erik Morales in a victory that earned Raheem Ring Magazine's Upset of the Year award and the opportunity to fight Acelino Freitas for WBO's vacant lightweight title. The Freitas fight resulted in a heart breaking defeat for Raheem, losing by a very controversial split decision victory.

Following the frustrating loss to Freitas, the business side of boxing made it nearly impossible to match Zahir with a fighter of his caliber. Raheem's name was established and everyone else knew that he deserved to fight the top lightweight contenders available. After a dispute with his promoter and a handful of less than desirable fights later, Raheem decided to step away from the public eye and focus on what he needed to do to get back in spotlight.

Raheem's attorney, Gregory Bloom of ChaseLawyers stated, "Although Zahir took some time off, he never stopped looking and preparing for the right opportunity. Brian Halquist has done a great job in helping Zahir get back into title contention, and Zahir Raheem is ready to take on anyone at 140lbs and is ready to fight for a world title."

Raheem has maintained excellent fighting shape, training out of his King Raheem's Boxing and Cross-Training gym in Atlanta, GA. Having gone 4-0 with 3 KO's and a new NABO title around his waist in his stellar comeback, Raheem is back in the spotlight and ready to continue his journey as a legit contender in the junior welterweight division

Boxer Adonis Stevenson admits criminal past after years of suspicion
Yeah Stevenson was a pimp. From what I read he was the right hand man of some street gang that pimped girls. A couple of the girls were 17 so under age. He did four yeara for pimping and assault (no sexual offense crimes though). Apparently he managed the girls, collected the money, and gave it to his boss. And he'd use physical force if necessary.

I think Ward would beat GGG. I think GGG beats Chavez, not to mention Chavez = more ppv money. It's a no brainer.
Exactly and thats why he wont fight Ward. Ward would beat that ass. Got Em!!

Dude Floyd is fighting at 147 in May so stop bringing up 154 when he isnt defending that belt at this time. He does have another belt u know. Yall can yap all you want about what points yall are trying to make but he normally fights at 147 and thats where he is fighting this time so any 154 fighter that wants to fight him has to wait atleast until after this fight. Got Em!!

Ward cannot even fight right now until he settles his court case he may not even fight this year. So Ward isn't even an option. Plus Ward said he would go down to 160 to fight Mayweather but not GGG how's that different than GGG saying he'll fight Chavez at 168 for a PPV (and GGG has said he wants to fight Ward too).

Dude Lara is a no name and brings nuthin to the table. Do I really have to explain this to you. Also Maidana won 70% of all the polls that were out there. You even said its a better fight than Khan. Stop yappin. GGG wont even fight Lara and Lara has been calling him recently publicly several times. I dont care about this or that. mandatory or not. Lara called out GGG and GGG said he wont fight him. Floyd never said he wouldnt fight Lara though. Got Em!!

What part of "Ward cannot even fight right now" don't u get? He has a court case, again, with Dan Goossen his promoter. He's not an option for anyone let alone GGG.

And why bring up Lara vs GGG knowing damn well Lara (Golden Boy) can't fight on HBO. You know this don't act dumb.

As for Khan and Maidana, I said both those guys don't deserve the fight. It's ridiculous they were even considered. Floyd had a poll on his website, he said whoever wins his poll gets the fight. Khan won (Maidana won on an ESPN poll). They are both shit fights for Floyd.

Lara isn't a draw? Doesn't matter if he's a mandatory. I don't know why u are anti mandatory fights all of a sudden. Mandatory fights are supposed ti be essential to keep guys from ducking. Like Maidana should be fighting his mandatory, Keith Thurman, who Maidana already ducked before. That's what's wrong with boxing. At least some guys respect their obligations.

Mayweather is Mayweather. He can fight you on PPV and pull in good numbers. Lara is well enough known in the boxing world to create a buzz, you know, the guy who just beat Angulo who's fighting Cabelo. A slick Cuban who can actually pose a threat, instead of a no hoper like Maidana.

What the fuck do you mean by "he normally fights at 147?" Do you know how many fights Floyd has at 147 as oppossed to 154? How about the number of defenses in each class?

Now get this through your heas biczarro, LARA WAS THE MANDATORY WAY BEFORE THIS FIGHT WAS SCHEDULED.

Stop being a hypocrite.

the truth is Floyd's pattern these past few years has been welterweight, then middleweight. He just defended his 154 so now he is defending his 147 so no one should be surprised that he's fighting at 147 right now. as long as these commissions allow Floyd to defend either title once a year, and the "cold war" continues on, we have to deal with reality here. Maidana not fighting Thurman is not Floyd's nor Maidana's problem, that's Thurman's problem and he needs to call out GBP on that. As far as Lara is concerned, he's gonna have to wait and see if Floyd is gonna fight him in September, which I've said he will. CZAR @CZAR is right by saying Floyd never mentioned he wouldn't fight him but we will see cuz the pattern shows Floyd defending 154 come September.

Last year was the only time since 2007 that Floyd has fought twice a year. Now count from the ODL fight til now and you will see no pattern. Now if you want to say the past two years or so you run into the problem of Floyd taking LONGER than a year to defend. So is that the pattern you are talking about? Cause if not I don't want to read no alternate weight bs.

you've bought into Floyd's nonsense so much that it's no longer about fighting the best, it's about money and you're justifying that. There was a time in boxing when it was about proving you were the best. I can't believe there are fans out there rooting for a fighter to make the most money without challenging himself the most.
