The difference for me is like when Mosley, Ortiz, & Guerrero caled out Floyd they did it every chance they got and with confidence. They wouldnt do an interview without calling out Floyd. Manny even when he does say he wants the fight, he says it so nonchalantly and so soft and seems to only say it because he is being put on the spot. Big difference to me. Got Em!!
Thats Pacquiao's personality though. He never talks shit or is aggressive when talking. He's always so nice and polite. Shit, even with Morales and Barrera he was doing beer commercials with them he's nice to everyone. Cotto is kinda the same way but in a more emotionless robotic kind of way. Only times I remember him talking shit was against Mayorga and Margarito (cus he thought he cheated).

Naazim Richardson Sounds Off on Adrien Broner’s Critics, Says ‘Problem’ Is Getting Floyd Mayweather’s Backlash
Yahoo Contributor Network
By David King January 3, 2014 4:46 PM

COMMENTARY | Marcos Maidana pulled off one of the biggest upsets in 2013 when he defeated Adrien Broner in December.

Floyd Mayweather's 'Christmas card' disses Pac-Man SB Nation

It was one of the most impressive performances of Maidana's career as he sent Broner, who had never been knocked down in his professional boxing career, to the canvas during the second and eighth rounds. Marcos thoroughly dominated the action from start to finish, exposing serious holes in Broner's defense.

The loss brought an end to Broner's perfect record, and his quest to become boxing's No. 1 villain like his mentor Floyd Mayweather.

Given Broner's chosen brand of self-promotion, it wasn't much a surprise that a decent number of boxing fans thoroughly enjoyed watching Maidana outclass him. The 24-year-old has been criticized relentlessly ever since the loss, but he still has a few supporters.

Respected boxing trainer Naazim Richardson is one of them, and he shared his take on Broner's loss and the backlash that followed during a recent interview with FightHype's Percy Crawford.

"Look here man, the kid took a beating. He ran his mouth and paid the price for it, but he took a chance with it," Richardson explained. "If he wouldn't have ran his mouth, he may never be where he is today. It's just [that] the public wants Mayweather to lose so bad that Broner is getting Mayweather's backlash.

"They were hoping they could do this to Mayweather someday and it ain't happened yet because he hasn't taken a 'L' or a short, so they're giving the extra to him. He's getting that backlash from that. 'We ain't been able to say this about Mayweather.' It's just like anything, when a joker can't beat the older brother, they try to pick on the younger brother. At the end of the day, he's a young boy and I'm just hoping he don't feed into nothing foolish of people trying to entice him into some shit."

Generally speaking, calling yourself the heir apparent to boxing's pound-for-pound throne despite having limited exposure to top level competition, bragging about your ice cream diet prior to a fight, and rapping and dancing your way to the ring would earn you a legion of detractors with or without any association with Floyd Mayweather.

Still, Richardson makes very good points.

It's hard to fault Broner for following Mayweather's villain blueprint considering the fact it's the easiest way to success in boxing. A chosen few like Oscar De La Hoya have been able to rise to the top of boxing's food chain while maintaining their professionalism, but most who try to embrace the "good guy" role typically end up like an Andre Ward -- who is clearly one of the most skillfully boxers around right now, yet is often overlooked by casual boxing fans.

Heck, Floyd Mayweather was once a "good guy" who said all the right things during interviews, but that didn't get him very far.

BRADLEY WILL RUN ALL NIGHT AND WANTS TOO MUCH MONEY, PROVODNIKOV IS A BETTER FIGHT FOR MANNY..I WANT HIM TO LOOK GOOD" - ROACH

Boxing fans are keen to see Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao square off, but that faceoff always seems to stall on the runway. It looks like we'll have to be content to learn, in the near future, who each man will next fight.

Floyd has been teasing foes for a few months, expertly tantalizing us fools ... er ... fightwriters, with hints and commentaries about Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana in interviews and on social media. Meanwhile, it looks like we should know pretty soon who will be across the ring from 35-year-old Pacquiao when the Congressman next rumbles. I spoke to Pacman's trainer, Freddie Roach, from his gym in California. I asked the five-time trainer of the year who he'd like Manny to square off with.

"I want Manny to look good in his next fight, and I think maybe [rumored foe] Tim Bradley wants too much money. Plus I think he will run all night and make for a poor showing for Manny," said Roach. The California-based Bradley, holds a mega-controversial win over Pacquiao in their June 9, 2012 tussle. "Ruslan Provodnikov is a better fight for Manny. They are good friends, though."

Yes, Provodnikov's come-forward manner would seem to play into the 55-5-2 Pacman's strengths better than Bradley, who showed in his last fight, a win against Pacquiao-rival-for-the-ages Juan Manuel Marquez in October, that he has mastered his brand of pugilism. That brand features slick movement, smart offense and superb stamina, to great effect. But the fact that he considers himself pals with the Filipino, stemming from a relationship formed when Provodnikov served as a sparring partner for the eight-division champion, could muddy the mix. That and the fact that Roach trains both men.

Freddie jokingly said that last potential hurdle could be overcome if he agreed to work Manny's corner in round one, then Ruslan's in round two and so on, if promoter Bob Arum and Team Pacquiao decide on the "Siberian Rocky" to meet Manny in Vegas in April.

And if those Plans A and B don't pan out, Roach could see Arum and Manny looking outside the box for a good foe. "Someone will cross over," Roach told me, mentioning Danny Garcia by name, and suggesting that some fighter who works with uber advisor Al Haymon, and fights under the Golden Boy promotional umbrella, could be lured into a Pacman clash.

In 2013, a cold war of sorts broke out when HBO, which buys a large portion of their fights from Arum, announced they wouldn't buy bouts from Golden Boy. Roach seems to think that fractured relationship could be healed, and a Golden Boy boxer could do battle against Pacman on HBO's air. This is boxing. Stranger things have happened.

Roach went on to say that another smart option would be to scour Floyd Mayweathers' most recent victories, the last five victims or so, choose one, and beat them in a manner more decisive than Floyd did. "I don't want my own guy, Ruslan, losing, because we've worked so hard on making him what he is today," Roach continued. "But my sense is, when it comes down to it, it could be Ruslan next for Manny. He comes in to town today. I've asked him about it, and he said he'd rather retire [than fight Manny]. And I said it would be a big payday and his family would be secure. He said, 'I don't fight for money, I fight for love of sport.' He doesn't care how much he could make. I told him I wouldn't blame him if he took the fight. We have to make a living and our activity time is very short. I'm trying not to make it happen, but to be honest, it's probably the best fight for Manny. I've seen them spar many times and it is competitive."

The thing with the UFC games is once they added Pride to it, there is no reason to continue on with UFC games. FNC is way better and with new fighters in the boxing world the game would be way better, but don't expect Floyd to be in it as he would ask for 90% of the game's profit. GO CHARGERS!

Mayweather On Pacquiao: Desperate Dog Wants A Bone!

By Edward Chaykovsky

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) held nothing back when discussing Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao.

During recent interviews, Pacquiao has expressed his desire to have a fight with Mayweather in the immediate future. Mayweather believes Pacquiao has no interest in winning a contest, but rather to clean up his widely reported tax troubles. According to reports, Pacquiao owes a combined $68 million dollars to the IRS in the United States and the BIR in the Philippines.

Mayweather also dug some salt in the wound, reminding Pacquiao about their infamous 2012 phone call - where Pacquiao turned down a $40 million dollar offer, and told Mayweather that he wanted a 50-50 split.

"So this guy's got all these problems and he wants Floyd Mayweather to solve them for him, huh? He's got 68 million problems and he wants me to solve them. First he didn't need me; now he needs me. He's willing to do anything now after his career done took a major setback. First he wanted 50/50; now he's like, "Floyd, give me anything. Throw an old, desperate dog a bone." This man got 68 million problems. Now he wants Floyd Mayweather to solve his problems when he was just saying he's on the same level as me," Mayweather told Ben Thompson of Fighthype.com.

"He basically told me, "f*** you! I don't need you. I don't need your $40 million. I'm getting the same type of money you getting." So if you getting the same type of money I'm getting, you don't need me. If you doing the same type of pay-per-view numbers I'm doing, you don't need me. I want to see the pay-per-view numbers. As a matter of fact, ever since he's been fighting on pay-per-view, I want to see his residual checks; the money that comes in on the backend, I want to see those checks. I don't know what their relationship is, but I'm not doing business with Rob Arum.

Lol @ being scared of Bradley. How much money is he asking for? Could be negotiating tactics as well. Really there are two choices - Bradley or Ruslan. Thats it.
they scared dude, Bradley earned whatever the fuck he's asking for by beating two legends in Manny and Marquez and he's not budging. Freddie and Arum want Ruslan cause hes the easier fight and would make Manny look good, cause we all know how Bradley made him look. Ruslan don't even want the damn fight. lmao!

Pacquiao already beat Bradley and he was never hit hard. tbh i would be more scared of Ruslan because he hurts people. He's been beastin.

After the Rios-Pacquiao fight, Ruslan said he didn't want to fight Pacquiao because he said he knows he'll hurt him. Ruslan said he didn't think Pacquiao was taking punches well against Rios. Ruslan was saying he would hate to KO Manny and end his career. Later he said he spoke to his family and he agreed it would be a good opportunity for him to become a star.
