LOL. I told you Tony it was going to be Mosley. But remember I'm dumb and I don't know what I'm talking about let the Manny fans tell it. It's funny how I pointed out the Manny pattern of choosing who he fights next, and I'm called a dickrider, hater, and a dumb ass. Sorry people I was just pointing out facts and exposing the double standards that so-call fans have.. What's going to be even funnier is that Manny will probably ask for a catch weight of 145lb still too.

Top Rank hates Mayweather. That's the reason why Mayweather has not fought any of the Top Rank fighters Cotto, Margarito, and Manny. Bob Arum hates both Mayweather and DLH because both of them left Top Rank and got richer without him.

The reason why mayweather has not fought any of them is because mayweather hasn't wanted to fight any of them. His reasoning for not fighting Cotto is that "I would beat him too easily."

I'm sure Bob hates Mayweather but Bob loves to make money even more, which is why he'd be willing to put any of his guys up against floyd.

The same goes for Oscar de la hoya (who bob hates more than anyone), which is why we saw this:

Bobs love of money >>>> bobs hatrid of oscar/golden boy.

LOL. Like Tony and Trips was saying Mayweather gets all the hate for doing the same thing that Manny is doing? When is Manny going to fight someone coming off a big win and not and brutal beating loss. But whatever Mosley old ass is going to give Manny hell anyway.

i noticed ortiz throws nothing but straight lefts head/body 85% of the time too. he needs to mix it up alot more...alexander figured him out quickly when all he was throwing was mainly the straight left.

Ortiz was a beast before Maidana beat him up. He's so scared to get hit now, which makes him not want to mix it up anymore. He's damaged mentally and I don't know if he'll get the eye of the tiger back.

well, I think maidana kinda exposed ortiz in that he lacks heart. He basically quit in the ring then damn near quit boxing in the post-fight interview, if you recall.

I think part of it is you're right, he's scared of getting KO'd but the other part is maybe he just lacks heart - when shit isn't going his way he gets discouraged.

I didn't keep score of the fight, but I thought a few things:

1. I thought Ortiz probably should have got the decision (again I didn't keep score because I wasn't interested enough (never been an ortiz or peterson fan)).

2. Ortiz is an idiot for not knocking Peterson out when he had the chances

3. Peterson was beating Ortiz up in the later rounds countering him.

4. Peterson is an underrated fighter (he did well against Timothy Bradley).

All in all this fight confirmed what I already knew - Ortiz is NOT the next Oscar de la hoya, he's not even the best top four at 140 and Golden Boy sucks at match making (why did they put him in the ring with Peterson in the first place? What was the pay off? There was no demand for it, no reason for it, I don't get it...).

he has became to predictable. im tellin' ya its those straight lefts he loves throwing. dude has all kinds of ability in the ring though...i think he needs to find another trainer personally...just like they were saying during the fight, he would be smart to hit up Steward... even Roach...i mean he is just right down the street from where he already is...lol

Eminem Returns To Acting, Will Star In Boxing Movie ‘Southpaw’

Eminem hasn’t appeared in a film since his well-reviewed performance as an Eminem-type figure in 2002’s 8 Mile (unless you count a hilarious cameo as himself in Judd Apatow’s Funny People), but now that he’s made his triumphant return on the charts and everybody’s best-of lists, Em is attempting to reignite his acting career. The rapper will reportedly star in a movie called Southpaw, about “a fast-rising welterweight boxer who brawls his way to the title, only to see his world crash down around him due to tragedy. The movie is about his fight to reclaim past glory.” Sounds familiar.

There have been various reports over the years of Marshall Mathers starring in a number of projects, from the life story of Mark Zupan (as seen in the 2005 documentary Murderball), to a film called 360 with Anthony Hopkins (which was shot down). But Southpaw, to be written by Sons of Anarchy creator/executive producer Kurt Sutter, is the first to be officially in pre-production with the rapper attached.

“I took meetings with Marshall’s producing partners over the past 7 years, looking for something to do together,” Sutter tells Deadline. “He is very interested in the boxing genre, and it seemed like an apt metaphor, because his own life has been a brawl… we are doing a metaphorical narrative of the second chapter of his life.”

“I love that the title refers to Marshall being a lefty, which is to boxing what a white rapper is to hip hop; dangerous, unwanted and completely unorthodox. It’s a much harder road for a southpaw than a right handed boxer.”

Eminem certainly surprised us all with a nuanced performance in 8 Mile, and can you imagine how beefed up he’s going to get training to be a believeable boxer? We’ll be there opening night. And though Em only seems to be challenged enough to want to play versions of his own persona, hey, give him some credit — it’s harder than it looks.

I think Khan showed some big heart. A lesser man would have went down or quit on the stool, like Victor Ortiz against Maidana for example...Khan won the 11th round too on many people's scorecards, he landed some nice combo's.

Lamont Peterson also showed heart on the same card.
