I had it a draw going into the 9th. I could understand a point going either way.

That's true though, that is all that Diaz can do. I wouldn't bump him down to gatekeeper, but he really needs to learn some new tricks.

hahah marquez caught me off guard calling out mayweather.

great fight it played out as i thought it would. Diaz looking good with those punches in bunches and the accuracy of marquez shots eventually taking him out... but damn i was getting a little scared for juan manuel.

Diaz appears to turn in to a different fighter once he gets cut. But I guess all of the power shots he was getting hit with took their toll at that point. Ha, and he should learn how to grab when he's hurt. Maybe he could've lasted another round.

lol no shit, there was no grabbing in the whole fight which would have definitely helped Diaz but that is what made the fight so great. I dont believe the cuts is what was the end for Diaz, Marquez landed some great shots the round before the last one and Diaz was still doing hella good in that last round but he had already took way to many shots to the body and face and once Marquez landed a couple in that last round Diaz couldnt really recover and Marquez poured it on

What a dope fight. I thought John deserved the nod in the fight but he let a few too many rounds slip away in Juarez's backyard. Hopefully John doesn't go back to Indonesia and never comes back.

If JMM leaves the LW division it's going to leave the division wide open. Hopefully it doesn't go to shit because there's still a lot of good fights that can be made there.

Chris John Wants Rocky Juarez Rematch in Los Angeles

By Mark Vester

WBA featherweight champion Chris John is open to a rematch with Rocky Juarez, but not in Houston, Texas. Last Saturday, John battled Juarez in the challenger's backyard of Houston to a twelve-round draw. John felt that he was the clear winner of the fight.

“I should’ve been the winner of that match But never mind, I can still bring home my championship belt,” John told The Jakarta Post.

According to John, members of his team contaced Golden Boy Promotions about facing Juarez in Indonesia or a neurtal site. Golden Boy was not willing to do the rematch in Indonesia. John is willing to do it in Los Angeles. He wants to take more fights on American soil.

“If not in Indonesia, I think Los Angeles will be good for the rematch. I just hope this time the judges will be neutral, too. And I want to have more fights in the US, where there are a lot of famous names in the boxing world,” John said

Shane Mosley Aiming For Pacquiao, Hatton, or Cotto

By Mark Vester

WBA welterweight champion is ready to take another superfight. He brought himself back from the dead with a career-defining performance over Antonio Margarito in January. Most had him listed as a serious underdog. Mosley overcame the odds by dominating Margarito before stopping him in the ninth.

“I got a chance to get in there and show the world that I'm still the Sugar Man and you can't look over me. I just had a great night that night. Everything matched up the right way and now I'm the welterweight champion of the WBA. I wasn't really that surprised [at how easy I beat him]. I knew I was going to do a good job with him being that I had the perfect sparring partners for the job and I worked very hard. Just his style, I knew that I could beat,” Mosley told BoxingScene.com’s Ernest Gabion.

Mosley cracked a few jokes about Juan Manuel Marquez’s recent challenge to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley is one the fighters who desperately wants to get Mayweather in the ring. After Mayweather issued a demand for a $20 million dollar guarantee, Mosley has set his sights on Manny Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto.

“I think Marquez wants to get in there with Mayweather. He's taking my money. I may have to go back in the Golden Boy offices and tell that I'm supposed to get that money. It's a good if it's going to be a great fight. I can get back in the ring tomorrow. [But] when the right fight is there. There is Hatton, Pacquiao and there is Cotto. Those are the three fights that I would be interested in taking. If Mayweather decides that he wants to fight too, that he doesn't want to fight Marquez, then there is always me to fight,” Mosley said

HBO Not Keen on Campbell-Judah, or Maybe Just Judah

By Rick Reeno

BoxingScene.com was advised that HBO showed little interest in a proposed junior welterweight bout between former champions Nate Campbell and Zab Judah. I hear Campbell is not the problem. For whatever reason, the network is not interested in Judah as an opponent for Campbell. I heard HBO was more receptive to Campbell facing undefeated prospect Devon Alexander or former champion Paulie Malignaggi
