Erickson Lubin 13-0-0 (10 KO's) is growing with each fight and remains humble, praising his fans for the success that he's achieved so far a pro.
Lubin has the required charisma of a future star and loves to spend time with fans of all ages. He never refuses a photo op or the opportunity to discuss the sport he loves with younger fans.
"I love children and especially young people who love boxing. I sign gloves; I take a picture with them because they are my fans and they make us athletes. I'm ready for the best at my weight. Little by little I'm getting better and increasing my level. My managers Garry Jonas and Henry Rivalta know what I like and go in search of the best fights," said Lubin
He adds. "I have the world's best adviser Al Haymon, I have the support of Luis De Cubas Jr. and Brad Owens. My coaches Herman Caicedo and Jason Galarza believe in me. I have all the ingredients to achieve my goals and unconditional support ... I will not disappoint. I will one day soon be the world champion, the champion of the people, and want to be remembered as a warrior inside the ring and outside the ring to be humble."
Lubin is part of the talent rich 154-pound division. In 2015, he had five fights, and his team expects him to continue with that pace in 2016. Gradually, Lubin has become the new sensation in his weight class, projected as a prospect with great potential.
"2016 is an important year for Lubin, said his manager Rivalta: "Al Haymon has great expectations for this young man. And in the same way he shines in amateur boxing, we hope he does it in professional boxing. There is no hurry and we're burning stages, to get to the really important fights in great shape."
