they had this at tower records in japan. i just listened to it. The one i heard got Kanye, Swizz Beats, and i think a neptunes production on it. I'm not about to buy the cd to prove i'm tellin the truth cuz i'm lazy as hell. maybe on the weekend i'll take a picture of the cd in my hand and post it. i wouldnt lie about this shit just to be mr. cool guy or something. It was on sale though and there was another Bone cd next to it. I know it was called Thug something, but i cant remember. And this was like 2 or 3 months ago.

But Gambit might be right, it might be just some scraps from the last one they put out. but it looked official to me.

bone fell off years and years ago....last thing i liked from them was back in 1997 and they started slippin. i think its cool that uneek is back with them but really? are they pushing a bit to hard to recreate that vibe? clearly bone is on a different level now then they were when they first crept and came, from some of the leaked tracks im not expecting this to do much better than the last garbage they put out ( strength & loyalty ) sure 5 members great just means 5 different ways for tracks to get fucked up not to mention beat selection. and the title (uni5) just screams gay. im not putting much stock into bone much these days, used to be a huge fan and still am but i can see through the bullshit now and know that they have been washed up for years. think about if you go see them in concert they only play songs from 94-97 they havent spawned a hit since, also i just feel like bone has gotten to be very religious and preachy with the message they try these days. but yeah im about 95% sure that its all hype and will not live up to whats being thrown around

i wouldn't say bone fell off, i would say there beats fell off.
Some of them have fallen OFF...Wish has been off and on horrible since Art of War...Bizzy has been tripping these last couple of years, but he is still talented when he wants to use it..Kray is consistently solid...Lay is uninteresting by himself....Flesh just got out of prison a year ago and hasnt released much of anything yet...

Overall, they arent even close to the same group they used to be, but thats normal..no one stays on top forever...hopefully they can produce a solid album...it doesnt have to top Eternal, but at least be a solid effort..

P.S. Yes, their beat selection is partly to blame for their lack of musical quality..

so...let me get this straight, you're basing their whole new album off of a few leaked tracks? That is pretty dumb. The album hasn't even been released and you say you're 95% sure that its all hype and wont live up to whats being thrown around? That is also dumb, no that's retarded. For all we know, the album is going to be the best shit to come out in years. I just don't see how anyone can talk shit when the album isn't even out yet.

I think you can blame Tomica Wright for that.
You can say that for Thug World Order, although Im sure BTNH had a say so to some extent...Tomica had nothing to do with Thug Stories and Strength & Loyalty though, which is what I was mostly referring to..

I actually don't mind Strength & Loyalty. I thought it was a good album. Sure the beats could have been better. But we say that about alot of albums. I wasn't really expecting some ground breaking shit on that album anyways.

strength & loyalty was still a good album, better most of the shit that came out in 07... interscope fucked up and chose tracks bone didnt want on the album.... they wanted "in the trunk" as the 1st single not "i tried." interscope barely promoted the album, only pushed one single & didnt push the 2nd single.... and they still went GOLD....
