i hear what you sayin, it seems that alot of the places that have sold the same style clothes for over 10 years are starting to change what they sell, not to sound prejudicial, but alot of places that sold clothes to predominately latinos with the typical shit we would wear, are starting to carry shit like ecko, fubu, phat farm etc.... as opposed to dickies, benz etc..... shit is changing and alot of homeboys are starting more and more to wear typical "black" fashions as opposed to the old school stuff.
and i hear you about regardless of what they are wearing, what's in the homeboys heart is what really matters, but how many times has funk jumped off with little or no words even traded you know???? it is not as big a deal for sewerenos to not wear something that his flue, but it is almost like an unwritten rule it seems that a norteno has to wear red to show his pride, which is kinda fucked up i agree. i definately hear where you are coming from tho OsO

being from different hoods isnt automatically enough to smash on someone anyways. It all depends on if the hoods get along in the first place. If they are straight up rival varrios right next to each other then I wouldnt be surprised if they tried to take one another out on the streets. As far as I know it goes like this... In the pen they must show mutual respect. Power in numbers comes into play. If a regular vet killed another vet out of nowhere in the joint you dont think he would get handled by his superiors for taking out a soldado unannounced and hurting the cause? Like I said on the streets it's probably on because thats when only varrios matter. I doubt there is a consistent rule on that tho.
i think it is almost the same in alot of the gangs. if they are at the point where they are both o.g's, and they meet in the pen one on one, they would have the mutual respect of each other right off the bat, they prolly wouldn't trust each other, but they prolly could speak to each other without throwin down, unless it is tow o.g's from definate rival sets/gangs. i would never expect an o.g. norteno and scrapa to be cool with each other. but i wouldn't be suprised if 2 og's from scrap sets put it down together in the pen and then if they got out still had funk on the streets, i can't really say too much for that cause they are definately on some other shit when it comes to funkin with each other down there.
"them" as in Surenos? not likely... they arent on that "paisa scrap" "no claim" shit believe that. If someone looks unquestionably like a cholo and denies it down here he will get mopped up & DESERVES IT. If someone looks like say VAMPS and has a shaved head and looks possibly Chicano but really doesnt dress like a cholo, then he will probably get hit up every now and then but there is so much room for doubt that he would almost never get fucked up as long as he proclaims "i dont bang". Some knuckleheads would still fuck him up tho in the wrong area just cause they want any excuse to fuck someone up. I mean a regular person in red up there can do the same thing cause it is somewhat of a common color and there are idiots who would still attack them whether it looks gang related or not.
