Biggie vs. 2 Pac (for probably the millionth time)

I've never made one of these posts about these 2.

Now...can I get some intelligent opinions without the dickriding. Without the "FUCK BIGGIE and the WHOLE EASTCOAST; this WESTCOAST ON MINE!" or the infamous "2 PAC IS THE BEST BECAUSE HE'S FROM THE WEST" that I heard from a 15 year old girl on BrownPride.com. LOL

Seriously; some honest opinions.

I'd appreciate a little more than ''Pac'' or "Biggie"...just drop your feelings on the matter.

And before anyone says this...ahem...I REALIZE THE TOPIC IS DEAD. PERIOD. END OF STORY. THEY'RE BOTH DEAD (right?). I'M ONLY WONDERING THIS BECAUSE THERE WAS A TOPIC ON ANOTHER BOARD WHERE SOMEONE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE THOUGHT BIGGIE WAS THE BEST.

2Pac by a long shot. Biggie had a nicer sounding flow, but 2Pac's lyricz were harder, his style wuz harder, subject manner wuz deeper, he had more classic songz, better production.... list goez on. i like Biggie's shit but 2Pac wuz just much better. neither is tha best of all time tho.... Eminem is better than both of them, i dont give a damn wut anyone sayz. and no, im no Eminem nut rider either so save it before you type it folkz!

Biggie had better punchlines than Pac, but their lyrics were pretty fuckin close.

Pac was better overall, because of delivery and of course he put out way more tight shit than Big did.

I think Pac is colder......the shit he was droppin at the end was so hard...All Eyez on Me,Makaveli,Gang Related soundtrack and so on...now they are putting out stuff like R U Still Down,Untill the End of Time,Better Days which Is still tight,but they mostly aint the original beats & not approved by Pac 4 real...but who knows If he was still alive a lot of that stuff probely would not have came out & we would be listening to evn colder music...

I never really got into him much...I hate to say It but I listened to him more when he died then when he was living.(RIP)He does have song tight songs on Life After Death & his older albums...I think Pac has a tighter voice though...he puts more feeling into it & It makes you feel it more......

@ Fatal Nyghtmare NOOOO Eminem does not even come close. Comparing him would be comparing Danny DeVito to both Shaq and Manut Bol in a slam dunk contest!

And to answer the question in my opinion to weather I prefer Pac or Big......well that's just a matter of mood!

If I feel like some clever ass witty Brooklyn style shit, I would pop Biggie in my player.

If I feel like listening to some deep Classic west coast shit.............then I would pop in Ice Cube and Eazy E, but if I can't find their CDs then I would pop in 2Pac LOL!!!
Nahh on the real if I feel like listening to some of that deep shit then I would bump Pac!

Them 2 do come close in different areas. Neither one overlaps the over. It just depends on who you personally feel more and/or what you are feeling at the time!

Right now, I would have to say Biggie is the illest dead rapper (besides Big L) since Pac is STILL ALIVE and probably won't come out of hiding in the Carribean!

Big L is fucking dope, I don't see anyone talk about him

I think Emimen is a biter, because Chino XL tops them all off! Chino was dissin all these type of folk way before that white boy ever opened his mouth and called out names. Canibus even better than Eminem and he even had the nerve to call bis' name out!

I can't believe how slept on the real game is now that Eminem is running around and putting fake ideas in people's heads!

I don't feel that putting these two against each other is even legit...in that the were both great but to judge who is the best really depends on your life and how they fit into it. now as far as me:

Biggie's lyrical structure and cadence was more precise and intricate, without being over your head. Plus he had the complete package (Voice, Flow, Pattern, Content, and top notch Storytelling) Which is what makes him the superior mc to me.

2pac was the better representative...he was and still is the peoples choice because his subject matter was for the people from the beginning to the end. Almost everyone could feel what he was saying at some point, in any of his albums....that is the reason why there is so much thugmania still 7yrs later....

Where Biggie is viewed more as a celebrity because all we ever saw of him was the videos,Pac is seen more as a martyr due to the fact that he was going through the struggle of being black and young right before our eyes and while going through all of this he spoke out to the poor and disenfranchised against the bullshit and.....plus he popped two cops.

To the cat that said Eminem is the Greatest, why? I really don't see it.

i used to not listen to Pac, and then i heard some of his hit songs that are played nonstop on the radio...and i thought, "now i see why people like him"...to me, hes just a more likable voice and hes more of a versatile rapper...hes got the thug songs, the "i love my city" songs, the thank u mama songs, hes got everything...the player shit, the money thing...and while biggies got a good flow and lyrics, he, (to me), just has one type of song.
