The hook? I would say it's the other way around, since "Street Life" is essentially a remake of "Street Life" which was on the RDV's first album, which pre-dates Urban Legends by more than five years.

Listenin to it again street life took the melody from Car Wash Skatterman & Snug Brim's Urban Legends
the melody itself was originally from another song years back that I can't put my finger on... but 'Street Life' itself was an unreleased track originally done by Pac featuring Snoop Dogg and Prince Ital Joe which I believe that hook derived from

It's a good listen. Tech is only on three songs cause its Big Scoob's album. Definately a good first album. More solo and better feats than most earlier Strange albums.

9. Only Know Hard
10. Breathe Again
= Best Songs on Monsterifik (imo)

Vitiligo was garbage for the most part. Even though Monsterifik isn't as solid as a Kutt or Tech album by far, I would still take it over Vitiligo any day of the week.

Vitiligo as an album wasn't structured as what it should have been?... yes

A good portion of those tracks on Vitiligo weaker than those found on Monsterifik?... a big no

Vitiligo frustrates the living hell out of me if I try to play it start to finish. Hell, it frustrates me if I play two tracks in order.

Big Scoob's album I don't have the same problem. I like what I hear, and it's definitely smarter to promote it in Southern states than in the Midwest.
