the year the niners beat Denver we didnt have that good of a record. we won the super bowl as the first wild card team ever... we were VERY good...........but playin the niners in Frisco on Joe Montana night wasnt lookin to good for Denver..........Terrell Davis hurt his knee that game, an Atwater took Rice out for the rest of season

Nope they didn't have to good of a record that year. They got there on John Elway's arm alone. If they would of played the Mike Shanahan coached Broncos with Terrell Davis, I think the Broncos would of won.

maybe i was thinking of the 1993 broncos, if i was wrong that's my bad. and i don't think those broncos under shanahan would have beat those niners, they barely won that year in san diego, although they did kill the falcons the next year, but that really wasn't a fair match

Fisrt of chris, the Broncos werent shit un 93, that was the years my Cowboys dominated! U mean the 97-98 Broncos! Thats the Broncos team that won the 2 bowls!! And yes they would have spanked the Whinerz with that team!!! Get yo knowledge of the Broncos correct playa, but Im always here to help!!! GOT EM!!!

Niners beat the Broncos at home that year! Joe's jersey was retired at halftime but GB knocked us out of the playoffs. Jerry was injured that year and that was JJ's best season as a pro. It could have happend no doubt in my mind! But it's all good.....we will get ours!

Yea we will never know, but I can say that when Denver got to the bowl, they were a completely diff team then when yall played them in reg. season! Shit Green Bay beat yall and Denver beat Green Bay, so go figure!! But the Broncos were on a mission that year, and the year after that, That Bronsoc team would have rolled the Whinerz also!!! GOT EM!!!

The way I looked at it that year was like this....Green Bay was a tougher match up due to the simularity in the West Coast offense and in coaching staff that they had (Holmgren)....We couldnt shake past them to get to Denver in the bowl game. But we would have won it all because We played better "D" agaist Denvers offensive style and were excellent against the run as in the 1st game that year when we beat Denver! But hey it's all good cause it never happened and we blew it! But every year that the Niners go to the playoffs you just cant count them out! We are due for a Super Bowl playa!

BigEWorm,you gotta remember Jackie Robinson was also an All American in football,and track n field at U.C.L.A..This is overall athletic skills as far as I'm concerned so he gotta be top 50 material.

Yall sleepin on Dave Winfield.He could have been drafted in all 3 major sports,but commited to baseball.

Bo and Deion were great(football)and above average(baseball) in 2 sports which is remarkable.
