Seen some stuff on this game looks like it has potential. I dont think it will play better than modern warfare 2, but it looks like they are stepping it up big time over the first game. Time will tell.

the maps were too big and you move too slowly, it takes ages to get back into the action and when you do you get killed quickly and always have to wait to respawn

there is no rewarding unlock system and no customisation of custom classes

mw2 ftw

^ it aint even a bandwagon

its just a fun game to play, you can play it in a run and gun style, or as a sniper or in a more tactical way with a group of serious people

its easy to control

the maps are very well designed and have a good layout

it has a rewarding unlock and challenge system

custom classes are fun to experiment with to create your own

its a bandwagon.. everything you jus said has been done before COD4..

Mostly all FPS allow you to play run and gun style or as a sniper..

It controls like any other console FPS for the most part..

The maps are too small for how much action goes on in the game..

the unlock system is coo', but rsv2 is a much better game imo and has pretty much the same thing..

yeah, cod4 is a fun game.. but its not like it was revolutionary or anything, it jus' took a few good ideas from some other games and ran with it.. I really liked COD4, but now i cant play more then a few games without getting bored.. Thats how Gears Of War 2 is for me now.. Anyways, thats jus my 2cents.. If you really like the game that much then more power to you.. It jus wasnt for me.

Now, if you throw destructable enviroments, vehicles, and a duck and cover system into COD then i'm fuckin all over it.. :)

its the best bandwagon i've ever seen

i agree that most fps let you play how you like whether it be run and gun or sniper or whatever

the control layout may be very similar to other FPS but the ease with which you can move around and shoot stuff is the best part about it.. playing games such as BFBC and far cry 2 online wasn't enjoyable at all for me because it felt as if i was trying to maneuver a large coach or heavy goods vehicle through the map, complete with a wide turning circle

i would rather have smaller, well designed maps than large, boring maps where it takes ages to reach the action..i dont want to buy an action game which becomes an olympic long distance running game as soon as i get online

i cant commment on rsv2 having a better unlock system because i havent played it

you're right about COD games being fun and thats why i and so many other people like the game and its bandwagon

The campaign aint that great.. I mean the first few levels are fun, but its way to open-ended, they shouldve made it atleast a little bit linear.

And for the most part the reason why i liked BF:BC online was its vehicles.. Mainly, the helicopter.. That shit was so fun to master.. And when i finnaly did master it i'd fuckin rack up 3,000+ points each game..

the destructible enviroments will always make me want to play. gives an element to an online FPS that no other has. the reason i enjoyed battlefield is because it was so much not like COD4 that i didnt feel the need to compare them. 2 totally different types of shooters. i enjoy them both for what they are. they both have they advantages.

will i say BF is better than COD? fuck no! but that doesnt mean its not good its own way

lmao.. so you were one of those people that'd run from base to base and get pwnt?

It's called tanks.. jeep.. helicopter.. You spawn with them for a reason.. And the reason the bases are so far apart is because you're either defending or attacking the crates.. It'd be lame if you automatically spawned right near the crates each time.. It gives the defenders time to set up shop inbetween battles.. And you can spawn right in the action if you want too but one of you're squad mates need to be a live.. You really need to have a few friends on you're squad and try playing the game again maybe?
