I'd upgrade to W7 asap, also check if your cpu is 64bit compatible. When you get shit up and running let me know and I'll help you with some settings because alot of people are having crashes/disconnects with top of the line PC's to low end PC's.

yeah think about it though, sit at the back of a map and point and click mortar all day lol it really is too easy, I have gone 30+ and 0 just by spamming mortar but I stopped doing it cause everyone gets mad lol.

I love my recon class now I finally unlocked the SK !!!! I use that shit unscoped cause of the fire rate I can one/two shot people. Before I'd just rush with ump and use spawn beacon for my squad so we can get the objectives.

It could run on High settings depending on the CPU, though if you know how to OC it, i would recommend boosting it to 2.8-3.0 ghz

But if you want more Fps, set the settings yourself.

Turn off Shadows, V-sync, AA, Anisostropic, and various other options such as Sun, water detail, particles (not sure these are included) You could easily run Texture, Detail, and Shader at the highest for more FPS.

Another factor is the resolution.
If your monitor goes up to 1920, you could go down to 1680 seeing as the vision wont change much and you get quite a boost in FPS.

I wouldn't OC anything TBH unless you know what you are doing and have money to spend. I underclocked my 560ti from 900mhz to 855 and 2025 to 1775 because of crashes.

His CPU is the bottleneck thats why I said Medium, but of course he could run it on Ultra it might lag like a bitch though.

Seriously i thought 8gb was pretty good lol.. If i could run the game at medium settings with good fps i'll be a happy man; i'd rather have smooth fps on medium settings then good graphics and mediocre fps on high/ultra..

And yeah CPU is my next upgrade.. I probably should pick them up now cuz they are going cheap for black friday.. But after i upgrade to Win 7 ($30 since im going to college) and purchase a virus scanner ($10 right now for symntec on new egg) and then purchase battlefiled i'll be broke..

Sorta pissed the gpu im getting comes with free Dirt 3 code.. Only the $300+ gpu's are comeing with the free Battlefield 3 code lol..

Anyone tryna trade? lol

But yeah when i pick this up ill add a few of you.. NONE of my homies got a computer to play games with, they all playing BF3 12 on 12 matches on the 360 and its lame as fuck lol

edit: yeah my cpu is 64bit compatible..
