It is a sad situation. Regardless of her lifestyle, it's sad that people point fingers and make a mockery of someone who's life ended from drug use.

You don't see people down talking Elvis Presley. Why? It didn't matter that he was a talented artist. Yes, he had more hit records etc, but he died in the same fashion as the crack fiend in the ghetto dead in a alley from a drug overdose.

Amy Winehouse was a talented artist. It's just too bad that just like a whole lot of people in the world, drugs got the best of her.

LOL! That I know, but let's face it. It doesn't erase the fact that he was fiend. People seem to ignore that, but highlight it with other artist.

Siccness members have died from drug & alcohol abuse. Should we not give a shit? I beg to differ for the fact the response in here is a complete 360 when it hits home. Let's not forget that regardless of the cause of death, she was a human being.

And yet, we preach about trying to raise our kids better and show them they can change the world. That's out the window when parents don't lead by example.

+1 , ive been arguing with even my own closest friends all day on talking shit about winehouse dying. ive had tons of friends and extended family die from drugs and/or alcohol abuse, and i know 9/10 of other people have as well. and then they have the nerve to talk shit about her like her death is a "joke". like we all havent said the same shit happen to people in our families. How about the fucking haters look back on their own life and think about how theyd feel if a million people started talking shit about their deceased due-to-drug-use. Guarantee they wouldnt be smiling then.

Its sad no matter how you look at it. Whether you liked her music or not, thats not the question here.
