Rest in Peace to a truly talented individual. Frank and Back to Black are literally the best vocal albums in the last decade. Nobody could touch Amy and she deserves to be remembered as one of the world's greatest vocalists.
Are you saying those albums were vocally better than whatever Alicia Keyes or Christina Aguilera dropped in the last 11 years? She had a good voice, yes....but not the best.
What makes her more fortunate? Is it because she was a recording artist? No matter what position you are in, people still face the same inner demons and struggles as the next person...Addiction is a son of a bitch to shake...
So what about the drug addict that could have been successfull in life but got caught up in addiction...Do you not say RIP to those people when they die either....
...all bs aside, rip...she was 27, same age as jimi hendrix, jim morrison, janis joplin and kurt kobain...all had amazing talent and died drug related deaths.
Exactly, and out of all those of people there were probably great singers, painters, writers, you name it. Unfortunately they never got their chance to throw it all away.
there's thousand of people dying of Cholera, Dehydration, AIDS in Africa each day, but we're giving a RIP to a person that's more fortunate in life?
She was talented, but she sure as hell was a dumb ass.
so my RIP goes to those people in Africa and around he world that are dying each day from the many diseases that attack the human race every single day...
