I agree 100%...if you take a quick look across the message boards you'll find people willing to say any damn thing on here. (Remember when Rid Bone posted a pic of Aria Giovanni and claimed she was his girlfriend?) That's why it shouldn't be taken too seriously. Anyone can say anything without regard for the truth or any principle whatsoever. Any fool can write "FUCK _____" and if you're willing to trip offa that, you don't have enough real life problems to rattle your nerves. YOUNGSTAMATT made a good point--some of the people making the most outrageous posts are complete fools. I think it's pretty risky to draw conclusions about the whole "NORTH" or "SOUTH" from the web posts of a few individuals, especially if those people are idiots willing to say anything for attention. And even if the source is well respected, you're only getting one person's opinion.

The bottom line is, the internet is a bad place to do gang research because gangs don't exist primarily on the net...they exist on the streets.

First of all @VAMPS I know you've been up here a couple of times and have been shown around some of the cities but I really dont know where you picked your idea of Nortenos up at. I dont care what city you go to in NorCal. Unless a homie is joking around and fuckin around with slang I have never heard a Norteno habitually use the word 'nigga' he might use it once or twice while joking but thats it. Most of them stick to Holmes, aye, Loco, Vato. Most do know and are fluent in Spanish they just choose not to use it.

I have seen some Northerners wearing the shit you were talking about but not very often. And for the most part those are only the young ones around 14-17. From 18 and up most of the homeboys wear EXACTLY what cholos down south wear just instead of blue its red, instead of Dodgers and Dallas its the Niners and Giants, instead of surstreetwear its nortestreetwear. Both wear ben's, dickies, baby cuffed and creased. Come around me and my homeboys wearing designer shit and your gonna get clowned.
