I think that may have to do with the proliferation of Asian owned houses in what were once predominantly black neighborhoods...along with all the liquor and convienence stores...I live in Lakeview in the Sco, and although you may see more black people on the streets, I know that Asian families are more predominant in the homes...same thing is happening in Vis. Valley, and parts of HP...maybe it is some sort of percieved threat, like they are losing their nieghborhood or something.
I went to the swapmeet on Slauson in LA and all the people who own the hip hop apparel booths were Asian. Not one black person owned a freakin booth, some of these Asians don't even know anything about the clothing they have in stock they only know one thing and that is black folks buy this stuff so theirs a lot of money to be mad there.
Some black folks need to wake up and smell the coffee and invest in there community, or shut up.
