so im sitting there chatting w some ppl during our 15 min break from math when this guy is talking about how in hawaii he always got beat by the phillipinos there, the japanese, the samoan etc etc, supposedly dude got beat almost every week...so then he say something along the lines of " i think someone like me has it rougher in hawaii than a black here in the US"...i tore into his ass asking him how he could make himself out to be the victim when blacks, browns, yellows, and damn near every other race imaginable has been fucked by this country, including poor white ppl...we argue for a few then i tell him he cant speak for any other races because he doesnt know what minorities go through...then he tells me that due to affirmative action hes getting screwed and discriminated against, i tell him, "hey welcome to the club buddy, at least they tell you the real reason why theyre not hiring you, lord knows howm many times ive heard that BS line that theyll call me, youre telling me my race wasnt an issue in at least one of the,..."

i rather ppl be upfront and show their true selfs, if youre a racist redneck show it, dont hide it and play us for suckers...

then he has the audacity to tell me that the ones in this country getting screwed are white males...i was like whaaaAAAAAA!!!...telling me im no longer a minority because of population...so i tell the hick, "mofo, we might have majority, but as far as politics, money and power and downright oppresive corruption, white men take the cake..?"

anyways a lot was said but too much to type..

in conclusion...

since whites until affirmitive action took away all their opportunities(sarcasm) have never really felt what its like to be a minority unless they themsleves go to another country and see how it is, do they really know anything about us colored folks to say shit about how we live and how we should feel?...sometimes i think theyre real insensitive or just dowrnight closet racists...how can you say this country is equal opportunities when i aint ever seen a dark president, shit, i dont think ive ever seen a president pictured with a colored man within arms lenth of his ass (you know waht i mean)

I've seen a white peckerwood, a white mexican, white people in the million man march, white people getting beatin by the cops, white people protesting war/racism, white people running homeless shelters, and the list goes on. The government of this country does not represent the interests of the [white] people. So you can not judge a group of people by the color of their skin for something done by the government and large corporations out of greed.

I was raised to be open minded. Hate was never an issue until I found it in other people. I never let it get to me, because you can't focus on hate or fear 24/7. It takes away from the good times.
