5 bills for a 4GB, 6 bills for a 8GB

It's a computer in your pocket. It knocks everything PALM, BLACKBERRY and BLACK JACK try to do.

As for robbing a truck load of them. There's no way to hack the phone, it doesn't take a SIM.

No only Cingular has a special contract with them. No other cellular services will have it. And as far as them being able to unlock your phone because of the new law it's not going to happen

i have cingular so i might have to cop this bitch, its looks clean but does it record photos/videos?
Yes 1.3 megapixel camera. Not the best, no flash unfortunately :(

If your two year contract hasn't expired yet be ready to pay earlier termination fee's. Unless you know a Cingular rep who can flip your contract and renew it for free.

Anytime you want to end your contract early or start a new one there's fee's because you breached the contract

Not if you stay with the same carrier... everytime you upgrade your phone (on Cing/At&t/Tmobile/USCell) you extend your contract to get the deal on the phone but no ETF fees..

5 year is the exclusive contract Apple & Cingular have. Then they go into
re-negotiations after that. This is just to get their foot in the door with a new device. After that the phone might be marketed to other carriers

Visualizer: YES the phone takes a sim card...That's what our network works off of...

Bosstalk: Apple has a 5 YEAR EXCLUSIVE agreement with at&t so the phone or any OTHER Apple phones won't be on any other US carriers any time soon.

here's the gritty:

$499 for the 4gb version
$599 for the 8gb version

There will be ZERO discounts on this phone and it will be the same price no matter WHO you buy it from. That was one of the contract stipulations between Apple and at&t

yes....5 YEARS

The terms of AT&T's corporate relationship with iPhone manufacturer Apple are slowly emerging, and fickle consumers notwithstanding, AT&T has reportedly inked a deal with Apple that gives the company the exclusive distribution rights to the red-hot handset for the next five years.

The distribution details were revealed in a USA Today article on Monday by Leslie Cauley, who also said that under the agreement, Apple is prohibited from developing a version of the iPhone that can work on CDMA wireless networks. Unlike Verizon and Sprint, which use CDMA networks, AT&T uses GSM wireless technology, which is incompatible with CDMA. In short, no GSM, no iPhone for at least five years
