i got a crazy ass story,my boy joined the army when he was 18 got discharged when he was 20 cuz a truck he was riding in hit a road bomb 2 people inside died my boy was coo just tramatized i guess or fucked up in the head from seeing hella people he knew get fucked up this nigga told me they would raid houses and tortutre foos he showed me pics of the nigga blind folded with his face lumped up just hella shit i cant be mentioning but to make a long story short this nigga was in a battle zone came home without a scratch on him right,this nigga was getting beer one night at a chevron and soon as he steps out he gets blasted in his fucking head me some dude with a 38 dude was waiting against the wall and got him in front of his lady and all this nigga comes knocking on my door exactly 2 days later with a fucking bandage or some shit wrapped around his head holding it 2gether u can tell where his head was cracked this nigga came to buy a sack off me im like u sure he like man lets smoke so we smoking he acting like nothin evr happened if that aint a soldier i dont know what is man 2 days after being blasted you gon smoke a blunt thats crazy..here his pic man this dude is fucking crazy as fuck http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080410/A_NEWS02/804100341
thanks bro...hell yeah..been around that infantry shit since i was a youngster..even lived on ft benning for three years....home of the infantry...lol
my step dad just got back from his 2nd iraq tour last month..hes also in the infantry...and then i got another relative who was just recently with the 173rd airborne in afghanistan for 15 months...but now hes heading to benning with the ranger battalion..i think...forget which battalion is at benning...and my grandps was an infantrymen in vietnam with the 9th infantry division...so yeah..im looking forward to it...

just joined the navy in july as a reserve(tryna go active tho), boot camp was boring as hell. Shit is basically just folding clothes, pt, drill...and folding clothes. In "a" school out in shitty ass virginia lol, gonna be back home in 2 weeks. i like it so far, a nigga finally got to go outside the west coast for the first time and see somethin new.
My cousin was 82nd. He was one of the first army cats to drop into Afghanistan after 9-11. Needless to say, he's pretty fucked up from the whole middle east situation. Other than that, he loved his time in the Army.
They tried to send him to Iraq a couple years ago, but discharged him after they did a mental evaluation.

Did 4 years AD Air Force in Colorado Springs with an 8 month stint in Iraq. Got out and became what's called an Air Reserve Technician (ART) which is a civilian during the week full time on an Air Force base then a regular reservist as well.
So far it's cool I guess, with my civilian pay on top of my reservist pay on top of the VA compensation I get I make about 60k a year. Not too bad for a 23 year old with no eduation (yet).
Oh yeah reserves is tight though because they practically just give out rank. I put on E-5 in a week.
