SUPA SAV'D is hitting alot of it on the dot,Im in the National Guard and whats funny is everyone thinks im just a weekend warrior,which im not,I am on active orders right now and theirs hella Guard soldiers on either Active duty or fed tech jobs making fuckin bank.
But like he said its all what you make of it,theirs plenty of people I cant stand,but its like any job your gonna have issues,ur gonna have people you dont like giving you orders ,but only thing is you have a contract to live up to.
Theirs also charts you can look up to see what your pay will be and its all based on rank and time in service.

bush gave out millions of dollars for airport security and the retraining of baggage handlers after 9/11 so i jumped on that and got a 19 dollar an hour job while i was fresh in community college

i just fucked off my money every paycheck for fun

quit the job cuz they wanted me to move to phoenix for 4 months and i was in college

i was trying to get federalized about a year or three later and work with immigration down here in SD but i couldnt pass the background check, well i coulda but i lied about the crimincal history shit thinking it didnt show up and they had me like under oath and shit, now that my criminal history is 7 years behind it dosent pop up

yeah you take the asvab test.I scored a 65.Average is around 50 so they say but the higher you get the more jobs you get to choose from.Some chick i know scored a 95 and is working with developing chemical warfare weapons.My boy scored a 49 and picked his mos and an MP and they shipped his ass to iraq 9 months later.
I was gunna do the aviation mechanic but didn't follow through felt like i rushed into it but if this economy get worse im def gunna sell my ass to uncle sam but i got a fam now and dont like the idea of moving every 4 years or having them to relocate where ever i would be but shit i need the benefits.

actually the ASVAB is based on age and they base your score around people your age and its your line scores what counts and thats how they find out if your qualified for that military skill.
I dont know if things are different for other branches but I know army is min score of 31for most jobs all the military wants to know is can you read and understand what they are telling you.
Highest score on the test is a 99,an I think highest line scores in the different areas is around 140 or so.

I kinda fucked up when I joined tho, cuz I'm in intel which is koo for gettin a job when u get out except aint no fuckin way I'ma stay working for NSA or the FBI or some shit like that, so my career field aint really helpin with whatever I do when I get out.

You collecting off that new GI bill? With the BAH of an E-5 and shit every month? I know they was puttin it into effect, but I aint know folks could collect now. That's one thing I'm looking forward to, finish a degree and get a little pay check every month.

Yeah I fuckin hate Air Force PT, it aint hard or nothing cause all we do is like 45 minutes of calisthenics and maybe another half hour of running around a track three times a week, but that shit annoying cuz I'd rather be lifting or doing something else besides flutter kicks and crunches.
