oh shit, ive been waiting to hear about those. theyre only 400 on musicians friend and under 3 on ebay.

i hear so much bad shit about behringer
i have a behringer mixer but i dont know what to measure its quality up against.
Only bad thing about behringer is that they copied blueprints/plans off like neuman and shit... and they got into a law suit etc... anyways they provide good equipment, some of there shit is iffy but most of it is good, its equipment for people on a big budget i mean there B2 microphone is $200 ... it kicks the shit out of microphones up to 4 times as much as it. so... whoever has bad expirience with behringer products had them for the wrong reasons. and was there fault. i have behringer products and they are ill so ... blah

if a product is bad then its bad, dont try to blame the owner for it ,dont be stupid o.k.?
Umm, im not blameing him for it being bad when i say its there fault i mean PURCHASING THE PRODUCT in the first place, don't be... GAY ok? how would they know the product would be bad be4 they purchase it? do you just goto the store and buy a product you know completely nothing about? nah you read up on the shit be4 ya purchase it (if you are smart) ... so if he read up on the product maybe he would of bought something different and wouldn't of had that "bad expirience" , its not his fault the product is bad, its his fault he purchased the "bad" product. don't be stupid o.k?

ive never had a behringer product. no big/pro studio i have ever been to has had a behringer mixer or other product. have i worked with the products b4? yep. would i buy the products? nope. waste of cash( to me). from the mixing board to the fx units its crap to ME. i have USED them at other studios and i didnt like them. now thats not to say that YOU are not capable of using them. as with the speakers those came up in the private convo phil and i had. i told him the TRUTH that i dont know about those speakers because i havent used them.

originally stated by phil: "i have a behringer mixer but i dont know what to measure its quality up against."

measure the behringer mixer against the mackies, allen and heath or soundcraft.

measure the monitors against the mackie monitors, alesis, events krk's or tannoys.

measure the compressors against the dbx compressors, art compressors and samson.

measure the fx units agains the lexicon units.

mr.samos a bit of advice (please dont take this the wrong way). be careful of how you speak to certain people on the board. especially those who have a lot of knowledge and skill.

:h:

ps and im not speaking on ME.

Well i really don't care, someone i know who has knowledge and skill i would show respect but LoL personally most people on here don't know jack squat.... (no effence to anyone) thats including me too. When you say you had bad expiriences maybe you should of been more "specific" .

I do not care anymore, obviously big studios don't use behringer products thats common sense lmao if ya puttin your all into a big studio project wtf in the right mind would buy a behringer product, its for people on a budget like i said.

blah

I got a decent mic and mixer and quality wise i kick the crap out of people who have put twice as much money into there ish than i did... i do not know about you, but where im from, thats called skill.

I AGREE BUT I DONT TRY TO RIDICULE THEM. I TRY TO HELP THEM.

SO DO YOU KICK THE CRAP OUT OF *EVERYONE* WHO PUT TWICE AS MUCH $ INTO IT AS YOU DID? OR JUST SOME PEOPLE? WHATS QUALITY TO YOU? I WILL SAY ITS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE BUT HOW YOU USE IT. HOWEVER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHECK MY QUALITY OF WORK AGAINST YOURS I CAN EASILY POST A NEW BEAT IN FACT I CAN POST SEVERAL.

i do not know about you, but where im from, thats called skill.
WHO CARES WHERE IM FROM? WHO CARES WHERE YOU ARE FROM. IF YOU CAN GET BY WITH A DECENT MIC AND MIXER COOL. I WOULDNT STAY FOCUSED ON CHEAP GEAR THATS POORLY BUILT.

I personally would ditch the piece-of-shit soundcard and get something with good A/D converters because everything has analog-out but thats not true for digital.

I don't know of any cheap mic pre-amps that have digital-out off-hand but they probably exist.

And whoever said that spending over $200 on a mic pre-amp was a waste of money... I strongly recommend that you quite trying to give advice to people because that's one of the most ignorant comments I've ever read in here.
